Roxy was definitely tired for many reasons. Pulling crazy shifts at work, still recovering from the curse K-lee put on her, and more or less running around like crazy to catch up with friends. She was hitting up Quentin last, but then again, the two of them were night owls. She was beyond thrilled to finally see him again, even if she was too beat to actually show it. Hopefully the drink would be enough to show her token of appreciation.
With a sigh, Roxy rolled her eyes and headed to the counter slowly with Quentin. "God, I like, don't even know where to start... Well, my family let me back in, which is totally cool, because oh my god, about time, right? That was a stressful night, but it's over. Then my happy was killed when I bumped into my ex. You know, the crazy bitch? The one who told my mom about me being... you know." She still wasn't going to publicly announce the fact she was a lesbian. And in a freaking cafe, of all places. "Well, she put a curse on me just because she can. My skin's still a bit swollen and red and I'm absolutely drained, but whatever. And then-"
The next part was difficult, causing Roxy to pause and avert her gaze. She was never a weak person and she refused to show it, even if she was. Though this bothered her the most. She distracted herself with placing her drink order in - an iced mocha with extra espresso and chocolate - then looked back to Quentin. "I've lost two best friends over the past month and... another one has gone missing."
