Alanna would be ok... it was hard to believe something like that when she had no control over it. Just shrugging it off and being that optimistic just didn't seem right. Granted, she did it all the time with her other friends. Oh, don't worry about this. It'll work out in the end, you'll see! Roxy was always the upbeat one who knew how to get her friends out of the mud. But now that the roles were reversed, Roxy couldn't help but have this horrible feeling in her stomach. Probably helped that this was the third friend of hers within a month that went poof.
"I know she didn't leave because of me. Or at least I hope she didn't. It just would have been nice if she- ACK!" Rule number one - never touch Roxy's hair. Unless your name was Kat, it was off limits. Non-family members touching her hair meant the penguin went into freak mode and she had to fix it. It would take her a second to realize that Quentin meant it as a friendly gesture, but until then, she pulled away to smooth out her hair again. After that, she blinked and gave a shy smile. "Sorry! Penguin thing... can't help it." Maybe next time he'd pat her shoulder. Less spazzing would ensue.
Smoothing out the last bit of her hair, she heaved out a massive sigh and tilted her head. "So... that's the latest edition of Life According to Roxy. How's everything going on your end, dude?"
