Who: Psalm and Myra
What: Reflections on the day before, freaking out about his mom
When: Monday June 8, 2009 6:00 am
Where: Myra's house
Psalm woke up sometime on the ride home from the hospital. Naturally he was confused as hell as to what happened. But Myra was right there holding his hand, and that was just amazing. By the time they got back to Myra's, Myra had explained what all had happened and he nodded knowing he should tell her the truth but afraid as to how. And what to say to her family? Well he didn't have to worry about that because as soon as he got out of the SUV, Mrs. Lowell stopped him and had a quick chat with him, telling him she knew what had happened and that he was going to be staying with them for a while.
And dear heavens was it good to be back at the Lowell's. Mrs. Lowell set to making him some of her amazing chocolate chip cookies as Blake and Parker genuinely freaked out about their brother from another mother finally coming back home. Somehow in the middle of the high intake of caffeine and sugar, they had fallen asleep all on Parker's bed just like they used to, all cuddled up like little puppies. He might have died if Myra saw it though. Little did he know, she had snuck in and taken a picture of the whole thing. Hopefully she wouldn't use it for evil blackmailing purposes. One could never tell with a poptart stealer though. Waking up early, Psalm found that against all odds he was still hungry.
So knowing that he was the first one up, he carefully detached himself from the other boys and carefully made his way downstairs. The note about the poptarts was still on the refrigerator. Well it was good to see that some things would never change! He would happily settle for some cereal, he was not going to be picky today. After fussing with some of his bandages he found the bowls in the exact same spot that they always were before and fixed himself a bowl. Before sitting down he turned on the TV making sure to keep the volume down just to make sure that Olivia hadn't gone crazy and put up a missing person's report while he was gone.
Breaking News in Scarlet Oaks...Well that was weird. Nothing happened that was breaking news in Scarlet Oaks. He looked up at the screen. Oh God, he was going to be sick. He wished he hadn't looked at all.
Thank you Jenny, this is Pam reporting live on Elm Street. I am standing in front of a long empty house that is no stranger to the media. This is the former house of Nadia Everest and her family. As some of our viewers may recall, Nadia was killed in a puzzling murder six years ago. Today may cases that have been deemed dealing with the "supernatural" have been reopened. We have learned just minutes ago that Mrs. Everest's case will be reopened. It seems that the mysterious life this lady lead was private for a reason. People are now coming forward and saying that she was a medium -
Psalm's eyes welled up as he shook his head. He didn't even realize that he had dropped his bowl of cereal until he heard the bowl crack against the floor. The milk was now seeping into his socks but he found himself immobilized. They were reopening his mother's case... What the hell?
