And one day I'll appreciate the rush of blood
Who: Missy and Nikita
Where: A high end music lounge in NYC
When: Spring 2007
Warning: NSFW
Missy had most certainly not been waiting for a phone call from a certain Russian brunette that she had met at that otherwise boring party that she attended solely because she was forced. True, something good had come out of it, but the Australian had realized at some point that she had never even given Nikita her number. She had called herself fifteen different kinds of idiot until one day she had received the call she was waiting for, complete with an invite to one of the higher end lounges in the city. After getting Kristen a place to stay for the night - Missy had no idea how the night would go - and ensuring that the outfit she picked out was suitable, she had hailed a taxi to take her there.
Shivering a little in the lingering chill that came after the sun set, Missy could not keep from glancing about at the shadows. Sure she was on a date - this is a date right? It sounded like it was going to be a date, what else would it be after that flirting? - but that did not keep her natural instinct of looking around for vampires from flaring up. “Cut that out,” she said to herself firmly. If she saw a vampire inside the lounge then she was not going to excuse herself and take care of it. No better way to chase a woman off then leave her to kill something. And yes that happened to be a lesson that Missy had learned the hard way and did not really need to repeat with Nikita.
It had been a long time since Nikita found herself giddy over a girl. Most of the time, she found some guy to hook up with for the night, have her fun, then leave him high and dry before the sun came up. That was how she always worked. Now and then she’d flirt with a woman and sometimes something good came out of it, but mortals weren’t meant to be lovers; they were meant to be cattle. They were suppose to be stupid creatures that were easy to manipulate for her own purpose. And there she was, standing on the street side, holding bouquet of flowers for a certain blonde human. Yes, Nikita was rather smitten with the reporter and might have stayed up an extra few hours just to watch her on television, all while grinning like a teen girl in her bed. This was something different and while she told herself it couldn’t last forever unless the woman was turned, she decided to ignore that tiny voice and simply enjoy the evening. Nothing wrong with that, right?
And thank god Jezebelle had taught her a thing or two about flowers or else she would have been in the dark when it came to picking them. Holding them in her cold hands, her eyes flicked about while searching for the lovely blonde. Nikita went out of her way to box off a small section in the lounge just for the two of them to have some privacy while enjoying the live band. And she might have taken the liberty to slip the own several thousand dollars to serve her blood when they ordered glasses of wine. Nikita already had some story concocted about how she just came from a business dinner with some clients and was stuffed, thus couldn’t eat anything else. Seemed to work most of the time. All she had to do was mind her fangs and all was well. Speaking of which, she was starting to nervously bite at her lower lip, worrying that maybe Missy forgot, but seconds later, she turned her head and found the blonde a little bit down the street.
She smiled as much as she could without revealing her fangs and waved down Missy. “Oh, it’s so good to see you, darling!” Nikita called out as she made her way on over to the woman, an obvious bounce in her step while she flicked her curls out from her face. “Glad to see you found it here alright. Oh, and before I forget, these are for you.” She extended her hand out to give the flowers over to Missy, hoping she liked them. Hell, she hoped it wasn’t too much, but what woman didn’t love flowers?
It was the waving that caught Missy’s attention and a revealed grin broke out on her face as she returned the wave and waited for the Russian to reach her. And were those flowers she was holding? Missy was glad that the dark would hide the flush that suddenly colored her cheeks, or she could blame it on the chill, because she could not remember the last time she got flowers. That definitely sends a pretty clear message. It’s a date. So Missy had dressed right and had read all of the signs right from their first meeting. And I can stop grinning like a bloody giddy idiot any time now.
“Thank you for the flowers,” Missy said, accepting and bringing them up to her nose to sniff, smiling at the scent. Flowers were not the first thing she always wanted but getting them was still nice. Especially on the first date from such a lovely woman. Nikita had literally come out of nowhere and Missy was starting to wonder why on earth she had not run across her earlier. “You look... stunning, wow, I’m impressed. Like you better like this than all snazzy for a party. Not that you weren’t lovely then too, but you know, a little less is good.” She was going to put her foot in her mouth and that was not something that the reporter was used to doing at all. Her brain was supposed to work faster than her mouth. “We ready to go in then? Excited to see what this place is like.”
Eeee! She liked the flowers! Nikita kept the thought to herself and tried her best not to flail around like an idiot. She continued to smile and averted her gaze for a moment as the blonde complimented her. “Oh, you’re too kind. Honestly!” She laughed lightly while smoothing out her dress. Just another black get-up, but it was more edgy and fun in comparison to what she wore at the party. “You look stunning yourself, you know. Black brings out your lighter features.” It truly did and Nikita wanted nothing more than to stare into those eyes of hers. Might as well get seated before they did that, at least. “This way, darling. I know you’ll just love it.” That said, she guided Missy on inside the sleek, dimly lit lounge. It was all the rave in the city and Nikita had enough strings she could pull to get the perfect, secluded spot she wanted with Missy. Upon reaching the hostess, Nikita gave the girl her name, to which the young lady immediately guided them to the front of the lounge, right where the live piano and harp were being played. Taking a seat in the intimate, circular booth, Nikita looked on over to Missy and smiled lightly. “I hope you like it. And feel free to order whatever you want. It’s on me.”
“Same can be said of those eyes of yours.” Missy had forgotten how... turquoise they were since she had seen her, but she doubted she would be forgetting that a second time. Giving herself a slight shake she did nod at the compliment, hoping it was dark enough to hide the slight coloring of her cheeks. Following along the reporter made note of everything that she saw out of pure habit, especially the darker lighting, but she let that analytic part of her nature go when they reached their booth. The music was lovely, the atmosphere intimate and if Missy had had even a doubt in her mind that this was a date it had vanished at realizing what sort of lounge this was. “I think I’d like a martini, unless you’d like to share a bottle of wine?” Missy was really flexible when it came to what she drank since she had made sure to have plenty of caffeine earlier. “So... you come to places like this often? Seems to suit you for some reason.” The solitary aspect most likely, Nikita did not give off the air to her of someone who was constantly surrounded by a parade of people.
“Wine would be lovely, actually,” she agreed with Missy. And by wine, she meant blood, but eh, detail details. Just had to wait from their waiter to come on by and they could put that in right away. “And not as often as I like, but I do, especially on the weekends. It’s nice to take a break from work and enjoy a bit of culture, you know? And it’s New York, after all! Would be silly of me to be all work and no play.” Though Nikita usually didn’t travel with a group of people, even if they were her own grunts sitting a couple tables away to ensure her own safety. Not tonight, though. Tonight she was solo and the grunts were probably back at her penthouse playing pool or watching movies on her flat screen. Men were so easily amused. Stupid creatures. “Speaking of work, I just got out from a massive dinner meeting with some potential contacts. Expanding the business and all. I swear, you think you have the biggest complex in the area and then people are demanding for more. It’s simply astounding! Had to cut it short, though.” She smiled sweetly in Missy’s direction. “Didn’t want to miss you.”
All work and no play was actually exactly how Missy tended to describe herself. She did not know a whole lot about the lighter side of New York culture since she was always sent off to find things that would look good for a report, and therefore not good for people in general at all. That and the added fact of her job as a hunter, the more important one in her mind, enlightening only to the very darkest ways of the city meant that she knew next to nothing about what else the city offered. Kristen probably knew more and the girl was just a little thing. “Nothing wrong with being career-oriented,” Missy had to point out, playing with her glass when the wine finally arrived before taking a sip. “Haven’t really gotten a chance to go many places like this since getting here. But I’m glad you cut it short to meet me, I’d have been devastated if you didn’t show. Pretty shielas don’t come along everyday.” The lack of sleep was going to be blamed for the blatant flirting later when Missy thought back on it, or the fact that Nikita had said that and smiled at her. And the flowers.
Funny how the two of them had double-lives like that and were completely oblivious to what the other one did. She still liked the fact that Missy was a business woman. Anything was better than some housewife with too much money to blow. Ugh, women who couldn’t think for themselves were crazy in Nikita’s mind. This was the 21st century! Things changed! Hell, Nikita knew, she used to live a horrible life like that. “Well, stick around with me long enough and I’ll show you all the lovely marvels this city has to offer,” Nikita reassured the blonde while watching her glass be filled. In the dim lighting, it passed off as wine, being dark enough and all, but it was indeed blood, and not the wine that Missy was served. It was the least Nikita could do to keep herself covered. After a delightful sip, she politely licked her lips and smiled shyly at Missy. “And no, they certainly don’t. I would have been stupid to still be sitting at the dull dinner meeting. But I will say, I wouldn’t mind having you around everyday. Definitely wouldn’t complain, that’s for sure.” Her turquoise eyes scanned over Missy, taking the liberty to drink in her features. Oh yes, there was no need to complain here.
“Might have to make sure you see that through,” Missy smiled, sipping at her wine after it was poured. Not her favorite thing to drink by any measure but even she had to admit that it was good quality. She might even be able to have several glasses at this rate - Not enough to get drunk, she reminded herself. Making an idiot of myself in front of a gorgeous Russian who asked me out for drinks is the last thing I need to do. There was a bit of a strange odor in the air, something that Missy knew but could not place. Years spent as a hunter had helped her tune her senses in to things, like the scent of blood, but she refused to even think that she was smelling blood here. Maybe someone had a cut. Yes, that was it. Thoughts that were easily shooed when she saw how Nikita was looking at her. A light flush heated her cheeks but she did not look away despite that. “I’m okay with that. Been a few years since I’ve been on a date though, so if I do anything totally wrong just tell me because I probably won’t even realize I’m doing it. Like staring. Have a feeling I’ll stare a lot.” Like right then. Not her fault that Nikita was gorgeous with those eyes of hers and that outfit... “What part of Russia are you from?”
A few years was a blink of an eye in Nikita’s life. She flirted with women on and off, but nothing as serious as a date. Hell, she spent more time having one night stands with strange men, only to drop them off on the streets when she was done than to sit in a snazzy lounge and enjoy the evening with some lovely company. The last time she remembered being this giddy over someone was with Leov years ago, before he morphed into an abusive husband. Love and courtship wasn’t something that a Rose concerned themselves with when they were interested in climbing the rank ladder. And speaking of Russia... “Saint Petersburg,” Nikita replied in an instant, still keeping them soft smile on her lips. “Born and raised. It’s a lovely city, despite all the turmoil it’s been through. I left my country back when the Berlin Wall fell, hoping to explore new means of business outside of the country for a change of pace.” She snorted at a mental thought and rolled her eyes. “Everyone has this thing that Russians automatically equal communists, like how we thought Americans automatically equalled capitalists. There were a few minorities of us who believed in running things on our own and earning what we deserved in turn, myself included.” She smiled a bit more before sipping on her blood and continued. “I rather like it this way better, to be honest. Don’t have to worry about some slacker being rewarded for my share of money, you know?” Made sense in Nikita’s mind. “And how about you, darling? Where abouts downunder are you from?” She giggled lightly while asking, feeling a bit more playful in the presence of Missy. Oh, the things that people did when they were crushing.
Russia was not really a country that Missy knew things about, having never dedicated much time to studying it, but she nodded with what Nikita said. Of course she knew about the Berlin Wall - she was not immune to the news even before she became a part of it - but she had to admit at least to herself that she was guilty of thinking that of Russians time to time. Mostly because she had never known one before Nikita. Ignorance and all that. “I’m glad you left the country,” she put in, sipping at her wine as she looked around instead of directly at the other woman. After a moment she smiled, liking the sound of her giggle. Meant that she was feeling relaxed with her and that Missy approved of. “Brisbane, which is near the center on the east coast. Loved it there, beautiful.” Not going to think about it. Having a good night, not thinking about the family. “Came to America for that whole new start thing you hear about, not bad for being full of Yanks. Come across the rare lovely shiela like yourself so I can’t complain.” Though none of the others she had come across quite her interest quite so thoroughly and she could not even put her finger on what exactly it was that had caught her attention past the beautiful, accented ones.
Initially, Nikita raised an eyebrow at Missy, a bit confused as to why she was happy the brunette left her motherland, but then she smiled and all was well. Nikita missed Russia, yes, but she couldn’t be in both Russia and this lovely lounge with Missy at the same time, now could she? “Oh stop it! You’re too much!” Nikita averted her gaze while giggling, knowing full well she would have been blushing that very instant if she was capable of it. The blonde had a way with making Nikita feel... special, was it? It had been so long that Nikita had began losing touch with that side of herself. Though this? She liked this. Enjoyed it way too much. Probably explained why she scooted in closer to Missy after sipping on her blood. “Well, I’m glad you left your country, as well. I’d be quite bored this evening if you weren’t around,” Nikita confessed, then reached out to tuck the blonde’s hair behind her ears. Such a lovely face. “I think I could get used to this.”
Missy was definitely flirting but what was more important, Nikita was flirting right back. Maybe even a little more when she kept giggling like that. Sure Missy’s cheeks were more flushed but maybe Nikita was just not prone to blushing, totally possible. “Reporters have the silver-tongue,” Missy teased. Although she felt herself shiver a little when she realized how much closer Nikita was, biting at her bottom lip when she reached out and touched her. Okay, it was just a little touch to move her hair, but it brought the brunette closer and Missy was having a really hard time focusing on anything past that voice, those eyes and her face. She even dismissed how chilled Nikita’s hands were, instead toying with her wine glass and finishing it off without breaking the gaze. She felt the beginnings of the alcohol having an effect on her but that was nothing compared to the fluttering that was caused by Nikita. “I’ll keep you from getting bored,” Missy said, one corner of her mouth quirking up in a smirk. What? It had been awhile since she was anywhere near intimate with anyone, or this flirty, she could mix things up a little. “Really glad you asked me out, I’d actually been thinking I misread you completely the other night, and that’d have been my biggest disappointment since coming to the country.” Women liked to be complimented. “Do you need another drink?”
“Really?” The vampire quirked up an eyebrow, interested in what ways Missy could use to keep Nikita entertained. Her mind drifted a bit, liking the various thoughts she could think up of, though snapped back to reality when asked about another drink. “Oh yes! But of course. Might as well bask in the moment, right?” She caught sight of the waitress and waved her down, asking for their glasses to be refilled, even if Nikita hadn’t completely finished hers. Why not? She had the money to burn. “Well, I’m glad you said yes. Do you know how hard it is to find a gorgeous number like yourself in this city that actually plays on the same team? Hmm?” She giggled at her own words before adding on, “I’m an open book, Missy. This is how I truly feel. Why wouldn’t I be upfront about something like that?” Partially a lie and partially not. There was so much Nikita had to keep from humans and the public, but her actual feelings for the girl? Those were real and she was going to cherish them. Hopefully Missy appreciated that. When they got serious- No, bad. IF we get serious - then perhaps would be a good time to explain the vampire thing. Maybe.
Missy was not going to list the ways she was thinking of to keep Nikita busy, instead busying herself with her drink. It was hard enough to keep from blushing when Nikita continued to shower her in compliments. It had been what felt like years since someone had called her beautiful, much less gorgeous, and coming from someone like Nikita? Missy was very, very glad they were not in a brightly lit setting. “I do know how hard it is,” Missy pointed out, “considering how long it took me to find you. Not that I was looking specifically... oh, you know what I mean.” She had blushed before but it was nothing compared to now and she honestly felt like her face was going to catch fire. Had she had any glimmer of an idea what Nikita truly was - and she would have if she had not been so adamantly ignoring them all - then she would have been disgusted with herself. But instead she was enjoying the moment, going so far as to slip one hand out and trace her fingers against the back of Nikita’s hand, playing the chill off as something carrying over from the cool air. “Maybe you should wear gloves, you seem cold and I wouldn’t want you to get all sick on me.” That would just ruin everything, sick people were no fun.
Was now a good time to say something along the lines of ‘I’ve been waiting my whole life for someone like you and that’s a long time?’ She knew they more or less just met, but Nikita didn’t feel this way often, if ever. This had to be a sign for something. Staring deeply into Missy’s eyes, she couldn’t help but smile the whole time, though had to mind her fangs, as well. This girl was like something from a dream, like a sweeter version of Katia. The mention of her hands being cold brought Nikita back to reality. “Oh! I do have some of those actually,” she mentioned, fishing through her bag before pulling out a pair of black leather ones with gold and diamond buckles. “You’ll have to excuse me, I get cold easily.” Sliding them on, she spotted the waitress coming back to refill their glasses. Perfect. “It takes me a while to warm up, but-” She sipped from her glass, only to chuckle at her own words. Oh, how her mind was wandering. “I’m sorry, I’m such a clutz right now! My mind can’t seem to focus. Must be the long day. At least we’re enjoying ourselves, right?”
Missy was trying to tell herself that it was impossible to blush more, but with how Nikita was looking at her and smiling she was starting to wonder if maybe her skin was going to find a new way to go past red. “Those are nice gloves.” Everything about Nikita really did scream that she had money and knew how to use it. Not quite the same as Missy who occasionally had to take the odd hunting job to afford things that Kristen needed. She did not mind that at all though, instead being a little fascinated with the gloves and momentarily ignoring her refilled glass of wine. “And it’s alright, not everyone can be as good with words as me.” Missy smiled, hoping the teasing lilt in her voice was evident. And, feeling the slightest effect from the wine - though a big part of it had nothing to do with any bit of alcohol in her system - she slid in closer to Nikita, turning to face her better, bottom lip caught between her teeth as she traced her fingers lightly up and down Nikita’s arm. “I hope you’re enjoying yourself as much as I am. Best date I’ve had since... well, ever.”
Feeling the woman’s fingers run up and down her arm sent chills through the vampire’s body. Why did it feel so impossibly good? And there she went looking at her like that and complimenting her so beautifully. Nikita couldn’t help but smile. You really scored big with this one. It was hard to ignore the blonde beauty moving in closer and saying such things. “Darling, if I even began to speculate that you were even a drop of waste of my time, I would have never shown up to begin with,” Nikita confessed lowly, then proceeded to ease in and nuzzle into the woman’s face. There was a reason that Nikita bought out the entire front area - to have privacy like this. Now she could easily see that it was worth it, for now Nikita could lean in a bit more and seal her lips softly against Missy’s. She could already hear the woman’s heart beating and she couldn’t wait to feel it go a million beats per second. Holding the kiss, she nibbled at Missy’s lovely lips for a bit, purring all the while. Oh yes, definitely the best date ever since ever.
Missy’s heart stalled for a moment and then it started going again so fast it nearly ached. There had not been many dates for her and none that she could remember, ever, where she had been this attracted to the other woman. Sure Nikita’s face was a little cooler to the touch than she was used to, but Missy also suspected that she was beginning to flush so everything felt cooler. Her fingers curled around Nikita’s arm where they had already been resting and she turned even more, her other hand sliding up to rest against the back of Nikita’s neck. encouraging her. They were out in public, yes, but Missy had actually noticed the lack of people and wondered about it for a moment. Thinking a little on it she realized that NIkita, who seemed to have plenty of money, had gone and probably rented this area out. She wanted something. That made her heart beat even faster and she kissed the other woman back. It just felt so good that she could dismiss the chill emanating from Nikita and the lack of a pulse from her neck. Missy would not let things like that just pass by but she was now, Because she was really, really enjoying this date and nothing was going to ruin it.
Of course Nikita wanted something. She wanted Missy in a variety of ways. The woman was an intellectual, she was beautiful, she was independent, she was a damn good kisser... did she already mention beautiful? If she could produce a heartbeat, it would have raced out of control, especially when Missy kissed her back. Nikita cooed with approval, whispering lightly against the blonde’s lips, “You’re so lovely, Missy.” It was odd complimenting a human, but she couldn’t help herself. This felt right, for some reason. She wanted more of this. And not just for one night, but also the next and the next and the next. She liked this flustered feeling in her chest that she blamed the blonde for. It was beyond lust and Nikita actually welcomed it. Pulling Missy in closer, Nikita embraced her tightly while locking her lips onto the human’s, savoring that lovely taste all over again. Oh, she could do this forever. And with the setting and music in the background, it was absolutely perfect. She only hoped Missy felt the same way.
This was better than spending the night combing over reports, coming up with stories, staring at the television and listening to the sounds of Kristen sleeping in the other room. No, this was actually better than any way Missy had spent a night since her arrival in New York - any night I’ve spent ever - because she had never once found herself this drawn into someone else. It did not even matter that Nikita was too cold and a variety of other things that set off little warning bells in that back of Missy’s mind because they were overwhelmed by the pure and utter delight she was feeling. Her heart was trying to beat its way right out of her chest, she would have sworn it was going to succeed too when Nikita said that and pulled her in closer. She whimpered into Nikita’s kiss as she felt their bodies pressing together, sliding her hand up from Nikita’s neck and into her hair, tangling her fingers into the dark locks because she needed a grip on something before she floated away. Maybe part of that could be blamed on the wine but most of it streamed directly from how Nikita was making her feel. “You’re just... amazing,” she returned, breaking the kiss to breathe, eyes fluttering open when she rested her forehead against Nikita’s. She had a sudden realization that she should probably call the baby-sitter and let her know that she was going to need to stay longer. Or the night. I hope she’s going to have to stay the night.
Damn humans and their need to breathe. Had she been a vampire, they could have the longest make out session in the world. At least she got a chance to see Missy’s lovely eyes staring at her. Nikita simply smiled right back at her with a giggle, bringing a hand up to caress the woman’s cheek. The music was filling the room along with the pitter-patter of Missy’s heartbeat. Any other vampire would have wanted to take a bite, but Nikita would have much preferred to nuzzle into that neck and cling onto her body. Yup, she was glad she reserved the entire front all for themselves. No one to bother them or interrupt. Hopefully Missy didn’t need anymore wine, because that damn waiter wasn’t coming back anytime soon. “Doing alright?” She nuzzled into her face, bumping noses with her playfully as her lips grazed over hers. So tempting. Nikita could barely contain herself. God, and just on the first date.
Even had Missy been capable she was not certain that she would have been able to carry on just kissing Nikita. The Russian was tempting enough when she had to stop and if she had not taken that little break she might well have lost herself. Then her brain informed her that she was being asked a question and she should probably respond to it before Nikita started thinking that maybe she was slow after all. Really though, it was completely unfair that she should be expected to respond to anything when those lips were touching hers. It was distracting, and this was coming from a woman who had been trained most of her life how to deal under pressure. “Just thinking,” Missy replied, drawing her fingers slowly through Nikita’s hair. The texture was wonderful. She bit at her lip and pulled back a little more, blinking at Nikita almost shyly. “You’re wonderful and... I... sorry, but I was thinking about the baby-sitter who came over to watch Kristen for me. And if I should call since it’s getting late.” And wishing I didn’t have to worry about this right now. She brushed her lips over Nikita’s. “Because I think I’ll stop caring soon.” Hoped.
The mention of Kristen had Nikita all sorts worried. Ah, yes, Missy was such a doll to be in charge of her younger sister and Nikita idolized her so much for doing just that. “Ooooh! If you need to call and check up on her, that’s quite alright, darling. Go on, I insist!” She leaned in for another quick, lusty kiss before pulling back. As much as she wanted to pounce Missy, she truly did care about this dear, little Kristen and didn’t want anything to happen to her. While watching Missy, she let a hand linger one down to the lovely blonde’s legs, tracing her thigh out carefully. She wasn’t trying to distract Missy, but more trying to distract her own mind, which was filled with all sorts of filthy thoughts. Tugging at her lower lip while eying the blonde, she found herself speaking up suddenly, “Perhaps you can come over to my place tonight? You don’t have to stay if you don’t want to, of course. Just figured it might be more... comfortable.” She smiled shyly, averting her turquoise eyes from Missy, wanting nothing but to curl up in her embrace and get lost in her kisses.
Yet another thing about Nikita that Missy had not expected of practically anyone other than herself - understanding about Kristen. The other time she had tried dating it had not lasted long at all and that was only because of Kristen’s existence and Missy’s insistence on how much time needed to be spent with her. Nikita actually urging her to go ahead and call despite what they were doing was... well, sort of nice. Pulling out her mobile she dialed home and waited for the answer. “Hey Chels; yeah everything’s fine... Kristen sleeping? Good. Listen, I was calling to see if you’d-” Missy’s voice trailed off when Nikita asked if she wanted to come over, heartbeat picking up just a little at the thought of spending the night with her. “No, I’m still here. Yeah, could you stay the night and get Kris off to school? Thanks Chels, I owe you.” Folding the phone and putting it back into her purse, Missy turned her attention back to Nikita. “I’d like to come back to your place. A lot.” She leaned back in and pressed a kiss to the side of Nikita’s jaw, feeling herself tremble just a little as various thoughts of what could happen went through her mind. Her eyes fluttered closed when she let her breathe tease at Nikita’s neck. “Please.”
It truly was so sweet to watch Missy go off and make that call. Such a supportive big sister. While Nikita didn’t mean to be distracting... oh, who was she fooling? And having Missy press a kiss into her caused the vampire to hitch her breath, even if the action wasn’t entirely needed. This woman was indeed a tease. “So polite,” Nikita noted as she nuzzled into her cheek, bringing her lips to her ear to whisper. “You don’t have to be that way for long, trust me.” Then with a tug at her earlobe, she rose from the seat and helped the blonde up as well. It didn’t take long for Nikita to gather her belongings and whip out her cellphone, briskly calling a number and speaking in Russian abruptly, as if giving someone orders. She was off the phone as quickly as she was on it, closing it and tossing it back where it belonged. “We’ll have a ride by the time we get outside, lovely.” Then she slipped an arm around Missy’s waist and pulled her in close while walking along her side. “Now shall we?” It was going to be tremendously hard to keep her hands off the woman in public, but at least once they got in the car her driver could care less as to what she did.
Truthfully, Missy was not the most polite of people. Reporters could not afford to be polite when it came to most anything since polite never got the answers that you wanted and needed. Though right at that moment she was being polite just because she was not sure how else to be. Okay, yes she was, but they were standing now and she really could not just go ahead and throw herself at Nikita. More than she already had. “Then soon I won’t be,” Missy replied with an easy smile, listening and completely not understanding what Nikita said into the phone. For all that she could pick out accents with ease she had not any such skill with actually understanding them, having never taken well to learning them. “Yes we shall.” Because Missy was not sure of how long she was going to be able to be polite. Not with all the touches that had been given and just looking at Nikita was making her skin prickle. Stepping outside she took a few deep breaths of the cool night air, grateful for the little bit of head-clearing that it offered her. Only a little bit though because when she looked over at Nikita she might as well have taken another drink. “You said there’s a ride? Because this whole just standing here looking at you thing is going to kill me.” No, Missy had no problem with people knowing what she preferred but she also did not want someone to make a story out of her. That was her job, thank you.
Once outside, Nikita looked around the busy streets, pouting her lips while trying to spot which small black car was hers. Seriously, next one she bought was going to be bright orange. Hearing Missy’s words did make the vampire giggle shyly, though. The blonde definitely knew how to compliment her and get her going. “No dying tonight, lovely,” she teased while poking her nose into Missy’s cheek. “Dead girls can’t moan.” She shot her a wink before glancing back out onto the streets, then finally caught sight of her Jaguar pulling on up, then bounced on her feet and waved in its direction, calling out in Russian the whole time. As the slick car pulled on up, a male driver slipped on out and opened the back door for the two of them. “Evening, boss,” he nodded in Nikita’s direction, then Missy’s. Lacing her hand into Missy’s she led her on over to the car and also made sure to give her the bouquet of flowers. “Didn’t want you to forget these!” She giggled playfully as they slipped into the back, door closed by the driver as he went back to the front. “My place on 5th Ave, gorgeous view. Shouldn’t be that long of a drive.” She placed a hand back onto Missy’s thigh. “I promise.”
The comment about moaning had Missy - who had somehow managed to get her face to return to something resembling its normal shade - blushing all over again and she looked away for a moment to catch her thoughts. Something that was helped a little when Nikita offered her the flowers that she had been given earlier. Missy accepted them gratefully, bringing them up to her face to cover her blush as she stepped into the car. Nikita even had a driver, how posh was that? At the feel of Nikita’s hand back on her leg, Missy shivered and reached over to place the flowers on the seat next to them. Turning back towards Nikita she traced her hand along where the brunette’s dress ended. “You’re more gorgeous than any view the city has to offer. I really do like your dress, the material is lovely and...” No, she was not saying that when there was someone else in the vehicle, driver or not. Her cheeks turned a darker shade of red just thinking it and she rested her chin on Nikita’s shoulder with a nervous giggle. Fact remained that, voiced or not, Missy’s mind had started painting out an image of what Nikita would look like without the dress.
Oh, Missy was so cute when she was flustered. Giggling slightly, Nikita wrapped an arm around the blonde and pulled her in closer while slipping a finger under her chin to bring her face up to level with her what. Her words were beyond kind and Nikita couldn’t wait to return the favor. Until then, she was trying her best to behave. No need to put on that much of a show for her grunt. Rubbing noses with Missy playfully, she gave the woman a sexy smile while raising an eyebrow. “And what? Don’t tell me the booze is getting to your mind too soon, lovely.” She kept giggling while teasing Missy, running her hand up and down her thigh. Oh, this would be an interesting drive. Definitely not that long, but she knew how drawn-out these moments could be. She wanted nothing more than to walk into her penthouse with Missy by her side and have the gorgeous woman all to herself. And she was quite certain Missy was thinking the same thing. There was no denying those gorgeous eyes of hers after all.
The booze was not to blame for Missy’s inability to string a full sentence together or any of that. No, that finger under her chin and the hand on her thigh definitely were, though. “No,” Missy returned with a slight shake of her head, leaning in until there was only a little breath of air between them. “You’re far more to blame than anything I’ve drank.” Leaning up just a bit she nipped at the tip of Nikita’s nose. “Couldn’t drink too much or else I wouldn’t remember all of tonight and what a shame that would be.” Already she wanted to make sure that she remembered everything and they had hardly done anything! Enough so that her body was demanding to know why they had not done anything else yet. Because we’re in a car with a man right there. Though, feeling childish for a moment, Missy leaned back with a grin and asked, “Are we there yet?” Most of her wanted to be there for one really obvious reason, but the other little bit wanted to see what the penthouse of someone who had as much money as Nikita clearly did looked like.
“Almost there, lovely, don’t you worry,” Nikita purred while trailing a finger up and down Missy’s cheek in hopes to tease her. And it truly wasn’t that much longer. Only a couple more minutes and the car rolled on up to the building complex. Smiling to herself, she waiting for her driver to open the door for them before stepping on out. She bid him farewell in Russian, albeit rudely, and then began to escort Missy on into the build. Inside the main lobby, it was quite spacious and filled with ambient music. Nikita ignored the desk worker and went straight to the elevator, where she opened it up for herself and Missy. “The place might be a bit of a messy, so you’ll have to excuse me,” Nikita apologized while wrapping her arm around the blonde and nuzzled into her cheek. Seriously, this woman was irresistible. It didn’t take long for the elevator to ding to one of the top floors, guiding the blonde on out and brought her to one of the rooms in the hallway. Fishing out her keys, Nikita briskly opened the door and flicked the lights on to reveal her lovely abode. And by mess, she meant various paperwork here and there along with chairs not pushed in, this and that askew-ed, little things that would drive a perfectionist crazy. “Well,” Nikita closed the door behind her. “This is what I call home. It’s not much, but hope you like it.”
Out of the car and then out of the elevator and Missy was staring around. Messy? This was not messy. Messy was her apartment with papers, paints, markers, crayons and even clay scattered everywhere because she did not have enough time to keep it clean. Add in tons of pieces of papers with her sister’s work tacked up on practically every surface and there you had messy. This? This was amazing and Missy was desperately trying not to stare. The open mouth probably did not help much and she forced herself to close it before turning around to face Nikita again. She fit in so perfectly with these surroundings and Missy almost felt like she was out of place. “Not much? Nikita, this is amazing. I can’t... amazing. It fits you so well.” Her cheeks were coloring again as she slipped her arms around Nikita’s waist, her body not forgetting how it had felt to be close to her. Leaning down she brushed her lips against the other woman’s, having wanted to kiss her since they left the club. “Do I get to see... your bedroom?” Little forward, perhaps, but she had invited her over.
Having Missy compliment her flat made Nikita all sorts shy. She liked it! And to think she was actually worried about a few things not to her liking. Nervously biting her lip, she teeter-tottered on her heels shyly and before she knew it, the lovely blonde was leaning in for a gentle kiss. That was enough to demand Nikita’s full attention. The vampire couldn’t help but wrap her arms around Missy, pulling her in tight just to deepen the kiss and taste her lips for a second longer before pulling away. With a playful chuckle, she tapped Missy’s pout with a finger and smirked. “You get to do far more than just see, lovely.” Pulling her finger away, Nikita stepped back and then curled the finger at Missy, beckoning her to follow. As she spun on her heels, she led the blonde on off to the bedroom doing her best to remove her shoes in the process, lazily kicking them to the side. She would deal with them come morning. Down the hallway, Nikita cracked open a door and flicked on some lights, setting the dimmer to low. One of the walls was nothing be glass, giving a lovely view of the city skyline. Though Nikita was interested with the sparkling metropolis lights and instead turned to face Missy, wrapping her arms around her waist loosely and slowly dragged her towards the bed.
Kissing the finger that tapped her lip, Missy more than willingly went along with following that curled finger. Because she wanted to follow it and see what Nikita was going to show her. Plus there was that lovely view to watch as the Russian walked away and Missy felt her breath catch. She dropped her purse on a chair without a thought and slipped out of her heels as she stepped into the dimly lit room behind Nikita. Oh, that was a lovely view of the skyline, but Missy only took it in for a moment before her attention went back to the woman who was tugging her towards the bed. There was unexpected strength in that pull and Missy doubted she could have pulled away if she had wanted to, not that she wanted to even a little bit. Her own hands slipped up along Nikita’s arms until they were resting on her shoulders and she looked at her as she stroked the back of her hand against the Russian’s cheek. “Have I told you that you’re beautiful yet? There’s just something about you that’s making me all... tingly.” Her other hand slipped down along Nikita’s back and around to her hip, rubbing the material of the dress and the skin beneath, What she wanted more than anything was to find out what her skin actually felt like but she was holding back just a little, savoring the moment. Smirking she slipped out of Nikita’s grasp and moved around to seat herself on the bed, running her fingers over the cover. “I like your bed.”
The more Missy complimented Nikita, the more she found herself giggling shyly. It was such a delightful rush to have a woman be so infatuated with her. Nikita was completely addicted to each and every touch that Missy gave her, eagerly following the blonde as she sat on down on the bed. “I like you on my bed,” Nikita added with a smirk, then found herself instantly straddling the beauty before her. She didn’t care if her dress hiked up considerable. All she cared about was spending this moment with her Missy. Once in the blonde’s lap, she snaked her arms around her neck and leaned in for a savory kiss. God, she loved how this woman tasted. So exotic and mesmerizing. “Mmm, more comfortable now, lovely?” She nuzzled into her face, grinding her body into Missy’s slowly all the while. It was beyond tempting to tear all her clothes off and jump to the point, but she loved how Missy reacted with some of the teasing. Hell, Nikita was reacting quite well to it, too.
“You’ll like me better in it,” Missy shot back, giving her own smirk a moment before she lost her breath because of that kiss. To say nothing for what her body did when she realized what Nikita was doing. Her hands slid down along the Russian’s sides, smoothing out her dress until she reached where the material had gathered up around her. A moment of hesitation before she continued to feel her way along the vampire’s skin, eyes fluttering as she felt that smooth skin. A little chilled, but nothing she was giving any attention to because her own skin was tingling as she felt out Nikita’s legs, stopping just behind the knees to pull her more firmly against her. “You should take this dress off,” she murmured, leaning in to nip at Nikita’s ear, letting her breath linger against the skin behind it. Her fingers gathered into the material and gave a none too subtle tug up. “I’ll be even more comfortable then.” Her mind had been painting images of what Nikita’s body was going to look like and she was practically craving the truth of what she really looked like.
Nikita could do that. The whole stripping thing, that is. She slipped out of Missy’s lap, albeit a tad reluctant, but she knew the show would be worth it. Taking several steps back, she brought a hand to the back of her dress, tugging at the ties that held it together. After a few tugs, the dress came loose and effortlessly fell from her body and to the ground. Nikita didn’t wear much underneath, clad in only a pair of black satin panties hugging her curves. With a smirk on her lips, she walked on back to Missy, swaying her hips from side to side just to get a reaction out of her. “Comfy now?” She slipped back into the blonde’s lap, tugging at her own clothing. Nikita didn’t find it all that fair that she had to strip, yet Missy remained clothed. It seemed like it was someone else’s turn to take off their clothes and show a little skin. Nikita definitely didn’t mind and was quite eager to see what kind of hot body was waiting for her under those layers of fabric.
Oh. My. God. Missy leaned forward on the bed, eyes wide as she drank in the sight of Nikita’s body. She had looked beautiful in it and the other dress she had seen her in and her imagination had painted something like this but the real thing? So much better. So much. Missy was grateful she had a baby-sitter willing to stay the night because at that moment she doubted she was going to be able to leave. “Oh yeah,” the reporter grinned, sliding her hands up along the bare skin that she now had access to. Feeling Nikita’s hands tugging at her clothes made her realize that she was the only really clothed one now. Something should probably be done about that. “Want this off?” she teased, removing her hand to guide Nikita’s up to the buttons on her vest. Carefully she helped the other woman undo them before shrugging it off. Grasping the bottom of her mostly sheer tanktop she tugged that up and over, biting her lip at the feel of cool air against her skin. The pants would involved standing up so that pants could wait because yeah, there was a hot, mostly naked woman in her lap, her mind was places other than her clothes. “Could you be hotter?” Missy nearly blurted that out, surprised at herself and ready to blame the alcohol.
Having Missy put on a little strip show for Nikita made the vampire smile. She had the money to hire strippers to come to her place and do just that if she wanted to, but having this girl all to herself? Priceless. Nikita wouldn’t want to trade anything in the world for what she had before her. Her turquoise eyes scanned Missy’s body, purring in approval as she leaned in and ran a playful tongue over her delicate neck. “Same could be said for you, lovely,” Nikita giggled as she snaked herself around the woman, a hand instantly going to her bare breast to fondle her. “I was so ready to pounce you when you came walking up to me earlier.” Seriously, who wouldn’t? She was certain there were a few male eyes watching the blonde, but knowing that Missy was coming home with her made the brunette snicker. Stupid boys. “You’re simply perfect.” Dragging her lips up Missy’s neck, she planted sweet kisses against her jawline before finding her lips, taking them into her own for a hungry kiss.
Just the image of Nikita pouncing on her made Missy shiver all over again, a movement pronounced by her body’s reaction to Nikita’s cool hand over her breast. How long had it been since someone had touched her like this again? “And to think that I was wondering if this was a date,” Missy murmured in between kisses. There had apparently been no doubt in Nikita’s mind. Being told that she was perfect was partially to blame for the blush that started on her skin, but all of the attention was helping. Wriggling a bit she worked her way further up the bed before tearing - and she needed to put effort into it because otherwise she could have kept kissing Nikita for the rest of the night - her lips away from the Russian’s mouth. Resting her forehead against Nikita’s she was certain she could lose herself in those eyes, grounded only by the hands that were trailing over Nikita’s hips. “If I’m perfect then what’s that make you?” Her nails dug into the smooth skin, teeth nipping at the other woman’s lips. “Other than exactly what I want.” Truth. Her head was fairly spinning from the closeness and the desire that was pulsing out from everywhere that Nikita touched her.
“Definitely a date,” Nikita purred into her lips, rolling her body into Missy’s while staring into those mesmerizing eyes of hers. “And I’m not sure what that makes me, but I’ll be whatever you want me to be, lovely.” A smirk graced the presence of Nikita’s face, trailing down Missy’s body as she dragged a cool tongue over the blonde’s neck. Such a lovely taste. She eventually traveled down Missy’s torso and rested her lips against the other breast, tugging at her nipple with her teeth while teasing it with playful laps of her tongue. Anything to squeeze a sexy moan on out of her. Nikita could definitely so this all night and was hoping to do just that. “God, I want you so bad,” the Russian woman confessed, grinding her hips into Missy’s rather viciously. She had to remind herself not to go all out, knowing her strength could easily overwhelm Missy, but at least she knew he stamina would be valued. There would be nothing short lived of this moment. Nikita wanted to savor every last minute of it and was willing to squeeze it for what it was worth.
Missy had not experienced anything quite like what Nikita was doing to her body in her entire life, and she had liked to think that she had a decent range of exposure to things. But there was something in the very feel of the other woman that made her skin prickle and tingle, her blood rush. Not all too unlike the feeling she got when she was hunting and knew there was something right there, something dangerous. Except she was not afraid. She was excited, wriggling a little under Nikita's touch, a long moan slipping out of her mouth as she tilted her head back. "So take me," she encouraged before tilting her head back, her own desire to touch and feel welling up. Missy tilted her head down so that her lips were nearer Nikita's ear, eyes sparkling. "Or do you want me to take you?" Her thumb slipped under the band of the black panties Nikita was still wearing, tugging playfully at the material while sliding her hand in towards Nikita’s stomach. Still the skin was chilled and Missy nearly frowned at that, almost feeling like maybe she was not doing near as good of a job as Nikita was. That would have to change.
Upon being told to have her way with Missy, she looked at the blonde and smirked. Oh, the thoughts that were swimming in her head that very moment. She could spend the rest of her eternal life doing all sorts of naughty things to Missy. The first thing she had in mind involved not having those pants of hers in the way, thus Nikita’s hand instantly dropped to the hem of them, tugging at them while she busied herself with undoing them single-handed. She moaned for Missy, enjoying the feel of her hands running over her cool body and nuzzled into her face to show her appreciation. A few nips with her lips here and there and Nikita finally tugged enough of the pants to slip her hand in and press hard into the warmth lingering between her legs. Nikita purred in approval, curling her fingers wantonly into Missy as she licked at her cheek. “Been thinking about this for a while, haven’t you? Either that or you’re easily turned on.” Nikita clucked her tongue teasingly at Missy before gently biting at her earlobe. “Naughty girl.”
Nikita’s smirk held a world of promises and Missy felt herself shivering just at the thought of what her words had inspired in the other woman. Hard to think of what the other things might be because she was trying to wriggle a little in an attempt to make it easier for Nikita to get her pants off. And then - Missy’s body arched up and a loud moan slipped out of her mouth. A moan that turned into a whimper at Nikita’s words. Skin flushing both from what the brunette was doing to her and what she was saying, Missy tilted her head around to nip at Nikita’s neck. “Ever since I saw that dress you were wearing,” the reporter confessed. One of her fingers slipped lower, back outside of the slim material that Nikita still had on for god knew what reason, and a smirk of her own lit up her face. “Looks like you’re not any better than I am.” Another stolen kiss while she started up a teasing stroke to counter what Nikita was doing. Not because she did not want to hear the same moans that were bubbling up out of her, but because she just wanted to prove that her mind was not so melted that she just had to mimic what was being done to her. And yes, that had happened to her once. In a purely conversational tone she remarked, “you should take these off.”
Having Missy return the favor only made the vampire moan right back. She couldn’t help herself when there was a beautiful woman in front of her. While she had enough control to handle most obstacles in life, Missy wasn’t one she wanted to ignore. Nikita welcomed that arousal lingering in her body. At first, she didn’t immediately pull away to remove the rest of her attire, rather pleased with just stroking the slick insides that kept twitching with each passing second. It wasn’t until Nikita felt herself squirming for more that she finally parted from Missy, only to slip her panties off completely, leaving the Russian fully nude, and then brought her attention back to the blonde. “Anything to make you happy,” she confessed to Missy. And with that out of the way, she tugged more at Missy’s pants until those were also out of the way. Without pausing for a second, she dipped her head down to plant loving kisses along Missy’s thighs, slowly making her way on up as her fingers went right back to teasing her all over again. She couldn’t help but smile the whole time, turquoise eyes flicking up to see how the blonde was reacting.
It felt amazing to have Nikita paying her all this attention and Missy made sure to let her know it with a few whimpers. When the Russian pulled away she made a noise of protest until she realized what she was doing; having forgotten that she had made any sort of a request of her. “You just made me very happy,” Missy murmured, not ashamed at all of how she was staring at Nikita. The other woman was beautiful, amazing and - completely distracting her from having a string of coherent thoughts. Where Nikita’s lips pressed little tingles shot up along her skin, causing Missy’s breath to hitch as one hand somehow found its way into the brunette’s hair. She had really wanted to keep going with what she was doing but the truth was that she did not mind having Nikita in control right then. Especially with how she just kept smiling like nothing in the world could make her happier than what she was doing. "You’re going to drive me crazy, Nikita, you keep up like that.” Her teeth came down to worry her lower lip. “Please don’t stop.”
She wanted to drive Missy absolutely crazy and like hell she was going to stop now. A smirk appeared once more while she pulled those panties out of the way. Looking over Missy, she purred with approval. “So beautiful...” She took in the scent of her arousal, only to part Missy’s legs before leaning in to run her tongue over the woman’s swollen clit. God, it had been forever since she pleasured another female and she was loving it every second. Moaning hard, she continued to lap at Missy, enjoying the taste against her tongue while she brought her fingers up to tease the rest of her sex. It came to a point where Nikita couldn’t help herself in the moment, slowly bringing her free hand down to play with herself, completely moist from all of the teasing from earlier.
Missy was not very religious, or religious at all, but when she felt Nikita’s tongue on her ‘God’ became a very important addition to her vocabulary. It felt different than anything she had ever done and she knew instantly that a big part of that stemmed from the chill that seemed to emanate from Nikita. Like her body ran at a far cooler temperature than it had any right to. Normally that would have triggered alarms somewhere in Missy’s mind, but her mind was not in charge of anything anymore. She wished that she could reach further down but made due with tangling her fingers into Nikita’s hair, tugging to try and ensure that Nikita knew how much what she was doing was appreciated. “Please,” she moaned, freeing one of her hands from Nikita’s hair to prop herself up a little, eyes locked on the Russian. What she was asking for she was not quite sure, past knowing that she did not want Nikita to stop. It felt amazing. More than amazing. “God, Nikita...” Her hips were arching up in an attempt to bring herself even closer.
Nikita knew exactly what Missy was begging for and she was ever so willing to give just that. A few more seconds of tracing her fingers over those delightful sex lips of hers and then they plunged inside, moaning hard into her as she relished the sensation of those muscles twitching around her. It only made Nikita finger at her own aching sex more. Her turquoise eyes flicked up to Missy’s on and off, a seductive fire burning in them as she sucked and bit at the woman’s sensitive slit, fingers pumping at a steady, vigorous rhythm. Every sound that came out of Missy was nothing but beautiful. Oh, how she loved this woman. She was willing to do this all night just to hear her moan like that. “You’re so beautiful,” she cooed to Missy, only to lap hard at her shortly after. Damn, she wanted to do this all night.
If Nikita wanted to do this all night then Missy would not be the one to stop her. With how her body was reacting she doubted that there was anything she could do to stop the Russian even if she had wanted to. And she did not want to stop her. She knew that Nikita said something to her but it was impossible to really register anything other than the sound of her voice. A wonderful sound. It became impossible to keep herself propped up so Missy let herself fall back onto the bed, fingers sliding back into Nikita’s hair. She tried to focus in and control the volume of her voice, but after a few more minutes she lost her control. Her body tensed for a moment before releasing, sparks of electricity racing up and down and she did not even know anything past that all she knew right then was that Nikita had been perfect. Once she started to gain back the ability to pay attention to her surroundings she found herself grinning, one hand sliding down to Nikita’s shoulder to tug the brunette up for a kiss. “You’re... amazing,” she breathed when she pulled away, tracing her hands over Nikita’s skin, needing to catch her breathe for just a moment. She nipped at her neck. “Wonderful.”
Having Missy get off like that was just music to her ears. Nikita smiled while watching the blonde react, loving the way her muscles clenched at her fingers. She continued to stroke her during her orgasm, making sure it was the best thing Missy had ever felt. Even Nikita managed to stroke herself just right, her clit throbbing as she moaned into Missy, her own peak making her body shake. And as she laid there for a while to recover, Nikita pulled her fingers out to suck them clean, then leaned in to lap at the juices that flowed out from the lovely woman. She moaned lightly at the decadent taste against her tongue, only to have Missy come down to kiss her. “Mmmm, you’re too kind, lovely,” Nikita purred, pulling Missy into her arms and snuggled. Kissing the blonde’s forehead, she stroked her hair while smiling to herself. It had been a long while since Nikita was this happy and she definitely wanted to keep this one around as long as she could.
Missy was not even sure what it was that she was thinking right then. Her thoughts had wandered off and she had doubts that they intended on coming back to say hello anytime in the next few hours. Or before she passed out. Maybe not even for awhile after she woke up. There were really only two floating around in there. The constant one that told her she did not need to worry about Kristen because she was in good hands and the newer one that said she did not have to worry about anything because she was in good hands. Missy was more than happy to cuddle into Nikita’s arms, nuzzling her face into the crook of her neck before pulling back to smile up at her, tightening her hold a little. Right then she did not care that Nikita seemed too chill, or that she could not feel a heartbeat. Her heart was pounding loudly enough to make up for both of them. Leaning up for a softer, more leisurely kiss she savored the taste and feel. Now she really was glad that she had gone to that dinner party a few weeks ago.
