See me as I really am Who: Fable Morrison and Lumi Theiss Where: Fable's house When: Evening
All day, Fable had been putting off thinking about the moon. Being over Bradley's, working in the garden, it had done wonders for Fable's spirits. Being connected to her element did that - gardening had always been soothing for her, even before she knew exactly what she was. Once she was home, however, it was impossible to ignore it. Sunset was coming and soon her little girl would be a wolf, running and playing in ways that just weren't possible yet in her human form. And, again, she was reminded of the full moons she'd spent with Tim, and it only made her miss her husband that much more.
Her in-laws had already shifted, and Fable carried the baby werewolf down the stairs to meet her grandparents. Ainsley seemed genuinely happy to get to play as a puppy all night, and she couldn't blame the girl for that. Mary Anne nudged her hand with her nose once before leaving out the back door; her mother-in-law was well aware of how Fable could be on the moons. No one could blame her, being the only human in a family of weres, and therefore always left behind one night a month.
But tonight, Fable wouldn't be alone. Viuly was a good friend, and she more than understood what Fable was going through as a widow. Tonight, Fable was going to hang out with Viuly's younger sister, Lumi, who was also a good friend of hers. She knew the two sisters didn't really get along, and that happened with family sometimes - Fable knew better than to get in the middle of it. She enjoyed hanging out with each of them, for different reasons. Tonight she didn't need to do anything but see a friend, and as such Fable was waiting for Lumi to arrive, looking out the back door at the wolves playing outside and idly playing with the bracelet she wore.
