"That's fine by me." And it was. Quentin had plenty of tattoos by now and he didn't care if someone came in while Lauren was working. If nothing else, it would be a good thing, because she'd be getting more clients (in theory) and that meant the place would stay open. If Quentin had to track down a third tattoo parlor in Scarlet Oak, he was going to call some serious shenanigans. Besides, she was the only one here that he could see, and since this wasn't exactly a five-minute tattoo, it made sense.
While Lauren got everything ready, Quentin looked over the shop for a second, nodding to himself. The timing was right, and while he hadn't exactly expected to walk in and get an appointment, he certainly wouldn't say no to that. He chuckled at her words, "Got it." And with that, Quentin stripped off the t-shirt he was wearing and took a seat. All of his tattoos were visible now - not only the outline Lauren would be finishing, but the myriad of dragons up and down his arms, the sailboat on the back of his neck, everything.
"So," he said, making himself comfortable, "how long have you been tattooing?" Might as well find out a little bit about her, seeing as he'd be here a while.
