"Ew. You just keep your super nose to yourself 'cause I don't want any part of smelling all those things." There was no way to protect against scent. He could get away with ignoring his psychic abilities if he pulled some gloves on or just avoided touching things. But avoiding smell meant not breathing through your nose and that had to be hard. Glad I wasn't born a were. Granted that would have left his mother with a lot of explaining to do to his father, but hey, weirder things had probably happened.
When Bunny pulled off the googly eyes Cole stuck his tongue out at her. Please, like he ever wanted girls making that face at him. "Right because it wouldn't be obvious within two days of starting school that I don't and then she'd hate me for lying and that'd suck because she's epic at rollerblading and... and... hold on." Cole held up one hand as he sat up, mind racing. Niamh was always going on about how he would never have a girlfriend - probably true - and he always got sick of it. And the occasional teasing at school, good-natured and otherwise. What better way to stop the rumors that constantly circulated about him being gay? A niggling voice in the back of the mind tried to point out those were true rumors but he shut it off fast, happy to ignore it like he always did. "Maybe I could date a girl. You said it yourself, I'm likable and I'm going to be sixteen. It's like, a necessity to date someone if you don't want everyone calling you a fairy when you walk down the hall." Sure he laughed those instances off and pretend to have wings, but it sort of hurt.
Focusing back in on Bunny he tilted his head. "You're single, aren't you?" He had no idea why. She qualified as gorgeous, especially when he did her make-up and he knew for a fact that there were guys at school who wanted to go out with her. Blake had been obsessed with her or something once upon a time, right? "Oh my god, Bunny, you should date me. I'd totally be the best boyfriend ever." Mom will diiiiiiiie and Niamh will swallow her tongue.
