"If we killed them all the vampires'd starve, and then half of my fun goes right out of the window," Delta snorted. "But you have a point." That was the other thing the shades were good for. Hiding your eye-colour while listening in on a fanger's fairly boring trail of thought. Or not so boring trail of thought. It really depended on the vintage.
Eyebrow raising, Delta gave a somewhat bemused smile. "Graveyards are chilled and the obituaries are informative. In short - so did I. Mostly got stoned in the former, though. It makes the headstones more interesting." Or it did for her. Luckily, she had never been caught laughing at any of the heartfelt inscriptions with a bag of munchies. Well, not to her knowledge. Nobody had ever stopped her to ask what she found so hilarious about the epitaph of someone she had likely never known. "You say Vicodin, I say Valium," she waved off, eyes raising to the strip-lights that lit the store. "Yeah. Kidnapped the little fuckers from the biology lab and hid them in my locker until they starved. I put them back again minus the lid." She blinked back to Bianca, head tilted. "Had a class full of screamers... Can you hold that for a minute?" The helmet was nudged closer to Bianca, but Delta didn't wait for an answer before climbing on top of the counter to poke at the light fixture. "How many dead insects do you reckon are in here?" She grinned down like a child who knew precisely why what they were doing was wrong.
