A kiss with a fist is better than none
Who: Ashcroft and Liev
Where: Underground fighting pit
When: Evening
As much as Ashcroft hated the weather, knowing the dangers he put himself if he left the house, he didn't want to be jailed up in the new place all day. Besides, all the workers were busy unpacking boxes and he couldn't help but hover the fuck out of them, his OCD kicking in immensely and ordering them to rearrange the tiniest things at least twenty times to his liking. It was then that he knew he had to leave the house. And to do what, exactly? Ah, there was the fighting pit that needed to be checked up on. Yes, there were the few grunts who kept it going even while Andraste and Ashcroft were gone, but he felt like making an appearance. More importantly, he felt like watching someone get the shit beaten out of.
At least the car was inside the garage and he demanded the driver go as fast as possible. Thankfully where the fighting pit was kept wasn't that far away from their mansion and the ride was hasty enough for Ashcroft to escape any of the thunder that began rolling about in his presence. How he'd get back home was beyond him, but honestly now. This rain had to stop at some point. It didn't matter for the time being, for now he was in his lovely abode, stepping lively as he entered the dark arena, the sound of aggressive shouts cheering on the combatants going on. With a smirk, he made his way over to one of the balconies to eye the fight going on, rather mesmerized by it.
"Ah! Ashcroft, so good to see you this evening." One of the other workers, who came up to greet his boss, who merely ignored him and kept his eyes on the match.
"What have we here?" Ashcroft motioned to the ring with his chin.
"Werewolf against a Canis Lycon vampire. Been going on for fifteen minutes now. You're in for a good show, sir."
To that, Ashcroft gave a twisted smirk. "Splendid." And then the worker left the vampire along, letting him watch the fight progress, now and then watching one of the stands to the side where people continued to raise their bets. God, he loved this job and God bless Andraste for taking it over.
