The expression 'like a hawk' made Angeline giggle, considering her sister was a were-hawk. It wasn't that funny, but it amused her anyway. She took a few sips of her drink while Locke spoke, smiling all the while. When he leaned in she made a point of looking into his eyes and his eyes only; she did not know what sort of effect that could potentially have on him, but she was keen on finding out. Honored. He'd said he felt honored. That made her smile more openly. "That's sweet of you, I hope you mean it." She replied, sounding and looking fragile only for a second, as if the fear that he did not mean it was creeping its way into her mood. That wasn't exactly the case, but she really did hope he meant it, however. Otherwise she was going to punch him in the gonads eventually, perhaps even cut them off, but that was for another time and/or circumstance. Angeline hated the idea that she could be used in any shape or form, at least without her consent.
The touch of his hand made her turn her face slightly to glance at it, and then Angeline lowered her eyes shyly again. He was a gentleman, that was certain. Boys his age did not act this way at all; at least not frequently. She liked that, she had to admit.
Chuckling lightly, Angeline brought a hand up to his and rubbed her fingers over his palm softly. "Yes you can; you just have to try hard enough." She told him, smiling and winking back.
