The water is warm, but it's sending me shivers
Who: Charlene and Roxy
Where: To the lake!
When: Noon
Roxy had wished she was in higher spirits to visit her girlfriend, but with the full moon slowly approaching, she couldn't help but feel depressed. This was the first one ever where she was separated from her family. Ever. Yes, she had talked to Kat about storming the castle and showing up anyways, but who knew how that would end up anyways. Maybe Roxy would make things worse and she would damage her relationship even more. Alanna even brought up the question of had Roxy even bothered talking to anyone in the family since she left. The answer was clear - no. Being a lone penguin simply did not exist and while Roxy was happy to finally be herself with Charlene, the idea of not having her colony made her want to cry.
And Roxy Diaz never cried.
Pulling on up to the edge of the road, she killed the engine to her Corvette and slipped on out, merely throwing her hoodie up over her head to protect herself from the rain. She figured she'd dip in the water anyways, so what was the point in trying to stay dry. And unlike herself, she didn't even bother to double check her features, not caring that moment if her hair was astray or what not. She did, however, hold a bouquet of red roses in her hand while she shuffled on over to the lakeside, searching out for the fishy girl. All Roxy wanted to do was curl up in her arms and bawl her eyes out. God, grow up, will you? Swallowing, Roxy finally caught sight of Charlene and smiled. "Lene!" She waved on over to the gorgeous girl and began heading on over to her, showing off the roses in the process. She hoped she liked them.
