A little gambling is fun Who: K-lee and Mina Where: Club in Ann Arbor When: Late evening
K-lee had healed up quite nicely and she needed to admit, even if only to herself, that accepting some vampire blood in exchange for her own had been a big part of that. It was just too bad that she hadn't been able to accept any healing spells thanks to her demonic blood. Pain wasn't something that she enjoyed so subjecting herself to the pain that came along with white magic and her wasn't appreciated. She just wished sometimes that there was a black magic spell or too that could assist her. Nevermind other people, they could break their arms and walk around with them bleeding and crooked for all she cared, she just wanted to be able to do it for herself. Maybe transfer her own pain to someone else and let them deal with it so that she didn't have to. Oooh, that was potential for her next spell, she needed to get to work on that the next time she was playing with magic outside of a casual setting.
Like the same bar she had last played with magic at. Brenda was gone but K-lee didn't need her, or anyone, to practice spells with. She'd been flying solo for the majority of her life after all and really, it could be so much more fun to practice some of her spells out on hapless strangers without worrying about someone giving her away. "Hey sweetie, Long Island if you know how to make it," K-lee requested as she slid up to the bar, toying with her earrings for a moment before accepting the drink she was given. Her pale eyes scanned over the crowd to see if there were any familiar faces in the crowd, mainly the ones she'd played with on her last visit. Luckily there weren't so she relaxed back in her seat and struck up a conversation with the bartender because, well, he was right there and he'd been staring. Let him think he had a shot before she crushed him under the heel of her hand. It was as much fun to do that as it was to actually curse someone.
