If Graham was collapsing against the staircase, even his vampire strength giving out on him, then there was no way Tessa was going to be able to keep up. She could feel him shaking and the moment he rolled over, she snuggled into his arms, her tiny frame curled right into him. This was exactly what she wanted and needed - someone to pay some attention to her, and who wasn't going to run right out the door afterward. She and Graham might not have the stereotypical relationship by any means, but this was more than good for her right now.
"And we can start again later," she said, grinning at the thought. What? The townhouse was a big place! And if Graham was going to be here with her, even better. The fire elemental in her was by nature a tiny bit clingy - okay, a lot clingy - and she wasn't planning on letting him go any time soon. At least, not tonight. She gave him a soft little moan into his mouth, enjoying that kiss, looking up at him through half closed eyes. "Think we should move this to the bed. Easier to snuggle there."
