Warning It's Dawn and Mina...This isn't going to end well. Rated T
Laying in the soft confines of her bed and smirking at her most recent conquest, Mina was purely blissful. She was happy that she had made a very "close" friend of Emlyn and hoped that this was only the beginning of a very long friendship between the two of them. She enjoyed his company and it seemed as if he enjoyed hers. The whole fire elemental issue was merely a small setback in the big scheme of things. Mina contemplated all this as she toyed with the idea of going out to feed that night. Though, with what she had seen on the news that morning before going to bed, well...it seemed better for her to lay low. The city was probably up to it's ears in reporters and other beings that she would likely want to punch.
Languidly, she stretched and sat up, shaking off the last of sleep's merciful hold. After slipping out of bed and showering the scent of sex off her body, Mina slid onto her couch and started toying with the different electronic devices at her disposal. Once she had settled in, she grabbed her phone and checked her messages. Horror-struck she almost dropped her phone as she recalled a crucial visit she would be getting sometime that day.
Shit! Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit! She mumbled internally when she looked at the messages she had left her sire. In her sex induced haze, Mina had been less that respectful to Dawn and it didn't seem like her maker would take too kindly to that. True, Mina felt that it was none of Dawn's business, but the fact remained that Dawn was going to insert herself into
Mina's life now anyway. Mina glanced around in horror as she saw the mess that still existed in her apartment. Some of her things were knocked over, the couch was a war zone, the flowers she had gotten the were scattered on the floor with bits of glass, gleaming with the last of the afternoon light.
Moving at rapid speed, Mina picked up the worst of the mess and then looked around to see if it made a difference...it didn't. The scent of sex was still cloying around the room, and worse the smell of fire elemental was also tangible in the air. Mina just hoped that Dawn didn't have a whole lot of experience with elementals and wouldn't know the difference. A tiny, still rational little voice in the back of Mina's head reminded her that her skin was warm from Emlyn's blood. She sat down and resigned herself to wait for Dawn to show up. It was going to be a long night.
