Watching with amusement as he pulled his presents (or should she say bribes?) out, Odette smiled as she stepped back to let him in. "I suppose that will suffice for now," she teased, fastening some of the buttons on her jacket. Reaching out to take the bottle he had brought, she walked towards the kitchen to fetch some glasses. "Would you like some?" she asked. "Or would you prefer fire elemental? We have some in the freezer but I'm not entirely sure it's your specific type..." her voice faded away for a second before she returned to the door with two bottles and two glasses. Laurent was still by the door. She cast a quick look at the guest bedroom door that was Liev's but hadn't been slept in in a while as if he was there or the door would reflect his disapproval. Setting her things down on the kitchen table, she shook her head as she sat down and patted the seat next to her. "No, we're quite alone," she responded.
Crossing her legs, she began to pour for herself and for Laurent into little wine glasses she had picked up from...Austria. Yes, Austria. "Liev is at the debate," she informed him, voicing the unsaid question. "As a matter of fact, why aren't you present? One would think that all Azraelans would be required to go to show support for the Vyri taking the blows for us." Odette had no opinion of Liliya Kennedy. She seemed like a powerful woman and that was attractive to Odette but that was about all she knew about the woman. Not to mention her human husband, which was just something completely silly on the woman's end. How did she ever enjoy being with a human now? Then again, she was young (which was another reason for Odette to mistrust her) so perhaps human affection could still be enough for her. But enough of Liliya Kennedy. Laurent was here and deserved her full attention. Maybe he'd even stay the night to walk her dreams. And Liev could...deal with it. ...right?
