Viuly snorted at the idea of the familiar doubling as a baby alert, shaking her head at the amusing thought. At least Fable did have her support systems in check. Viuly always felt like she fell short in that department. Sure, there was Lumi who was always eager to look after the kiddo, but she didn't count in her eyes. And leaving any kid in Zazriel's care was a bad idea in general. Though the mention of snacks did make Liam excited and smiley, while Viuly couldn't help but frown a bit. "You have enough snacks in the car, Liam. We don't need to buy you anymore."
"But mom-"
"I'm not going to buy you a bunch of sugary treats that are bad for you when you have plenty of healthy things waiting to be munched on."
And Liam couldn't help but pout while whimpering, "But I don't like celery and peanut butter."
"Well, it's good for you, sweetie. You'll thank me when you're my age." Then Viuly merely shook her head and mouthed 'Oh my god' while walking on in with Liam dragging behind. Thank god there wasn't a line or else Viuly was going to fine her anger tested very easily. Reaching the counter, she didn't even bother to smile at the barista and merely raised her eyebrows at the girl. "Double tall vanilla soy latte, half decaf, half regular and an apple juice-"
"Apple juice!" Liam flailed his arms up, rather happy about this. Viuly, not so much.
"Is that all?" The barista blinked, still trying to process the first order.
