Always love; hate will get you every time. Who: Fable Morrison and Viuly Theiss (plus the kiddos, Ainsley and Liam) Where: Coffee shop, then the park When: 3ish
As a military wife, you learned early on to make what friends you could, especially those who knew what you were going through. This went double for a military widow like Fable. Though she wasn't the type anyone ever thought would be associated with the Army - her hippie roots and independent streak always came through - she still wore Tim's dog tags proudly. And she always would, even after Ainsley grew older and didn't constantly play with them anymore, when the little girl was old enough to understand why her daddy wasn't a part of her life. Just like how Fable would never take off her wedding rings, either.
Though Fable and Viuly didn't always have everything in common, at least Viuly understood what Fable was going through when it came to that. Both of them knew when not to mention it, either, which was most of the time. Putting Ainsley in a simple onesie, having the feeling the baby was likely to shift into wolf form while playing with Liam, Fable gathered up her things and headed on out. It would be good to get out for a while and catch up with her friend, which hadn't happened in some time. Besides, the weather was nice, and the earth elemental in her was always happy for the time spent outside.
