Gretel was making Billie blush, and that was never good when it was a woman -girl, whatever- causing that effect on her. Compliments did have that effect on her though, regardless of the gender, as she wasn't really used to get them. She wasn't scared; maybe a bit surprised, but not scared. Yet.
"Uh, I think they had something of that a-around..." She started to look for the sheets as Gretel kept on talking. That's when Gretel...touched her. It was a bit odd, to say the least, but she was too surprised to actually make any attempt to resist.
"Ah...t-thanks?" Who did she just meet here? Something about Gretel didn't seem...right. Not wrong, but different. She didn't talk like anyone she had ever met, and knew way more than the average teenager. The world was full of weird people though, and Billie was also one of them, but could Penny be in the same group? She almost wanted it to be true, but how do you ask such things?
She started to read the sheet she had put on. It would have sounded better with a cello...but it sounded rather good on piano only, too. And it was certainly lively. A small smile appeared on Billie's lips; it was a bit easier to play the way Gretel had instructed her.
