Windows leading to the past, think it's time I broke some glass
Who: Adam Rowe and Fiona Lynch
Where: Scarlet Oak Community Library
When: Late morning
By now, Adam was more than bored with the idea of staying home all the time. Not that he didn't have plenty of work to do, a stack of books to read and papers to grade, not to mention a novel to work on, but he needed a change of pace. Some of his best writing occurred outside of his house, in cafes and coffee shops and even bars. He was definitely an observer in the best of ways, picking up snippets of conversation and letting his imagination fill in the rest.
Truth be told though, Adam was a huge fan of libraries. He'd been in every one he could find in New York City, and had spent tons of time working in the one at the University of Michigan, but he craved something new. So, deciding that the vampires weren't going to get him in a library of all places (and he'd probably be more curious about one than anything else right now, regardless of whether it was dangerous or not), he grabbed all of his writing stuff, packed it into his messenger bag of doom, and headed off to the Scarlet Oak Community Library. Things had definitely been updated and changed since the last time Adam had been here, and with how insatiable his intellectual appetite for new information could be, this was definitely a good thing.
Dropping off his stuff at a nearby table, Adam went looking through the stacks, unsure what subject he wanted to read about first. Some research on water for his novel, perhaps, but he could easily be sidetracked by anything he found interesting. It just depended on what he stumbled across first.
