Brett watched Lauren work with a mixture of awe and admiration. The speed that she had coupled with the beauty she managed to put into the quick sketch shocked him. He was one of those artistically challenged lunk heads that couldn't draw stick figures. To him, anyone who could wield that kind of talent deserved immense respect. The drawing on the page spoke volumes to Brett. The only problem is, he didn't know what it was saying. He knew he liked it, that much was certain. It was masculine, it seemed to catch the essence of what he wanted, it just seemed like it needed something...more.
He took in the way the wings flared out into almost flaming tips captured exactly what he wanted it to. It was subtle enough that it didn't scream "tribute" but it was solemn enough to accomplish his goals. He really liked the wings and the choice in color she had, that part was fine. It was the middle that he ultimately caved on. "I like the different Elements. You really got what I wanted it to be. The colors were a nice touch too. They are both a symbol of light and fire. The wings look amazing and I love the abstract view. The only thing I would wan't to change is the middle. I think that I want it to be a more solid heart and I would like the date of the fire to be in the center. As for goin to another tattoo artist, that would just be plain stupid. Thats like goin to another painter because you think Mona Lisa has a stupid smile." He said smiling back at her.
