Dear, sweet cousin Who: Antonin and Madeleine Where: Antonin & Zaviar's place When: Late morning Warning: She might just try to murder him
His hair was messy, he didn't know where his shirt was, he was covered in marks from various sources and he was pretty certain that he was going to end up needing a new mattress before the week was out but despite all of that Antonin was in a remarkably good mood. Or not that remarkable since all those things meant one thing - Circe was there. Staying there even. Antonin was a naturally cheerful person and adding that into the equation meant that he was humming as he got up and went to get himself something to eat. So he'd called off from work, it wasn't a big deal, they didn't really need him (only they probably did with all of the vampire-related activity) and he needed to rest up. Circe had left before the sun even rose due to that absurd work schedule they had interns on so after taking her in (she hadn't had her car and he wasn't going to make her take a cab) Antonin had gone back to sleep. Which meant he was having a completely lazy day and loving every minute of it.
To the point where he didn't even bother to pull on anything past his boxers as he settled in front of the TV with a bowl of cereal, watching cartoons. Maybe later he'd go out and stretch some of his necromancy muscles just to keep in practice. The vampire-related ones. Sure he didn't mind them near as much as plain humans but they didn't like him and it was always funny to make them do little things. He was so easily amused. Though his amusement was a little disrupted when he picked up someone's thoughts. Huh, no one's around... wait. Those weren't the nicest thoughts, there was something in there about fire and a mantra that he could have sworn sounded familiar. "So best two days ever," Antonin grinned as he set the cereal aside and went to pull the door open before she even had the chance to ring or knock or yell or whatever she had been about to do. Hesitating not at all, not even bothering to consider the fact that she could light him on fire if she had a mind to, Antonin swept Madeleine up into a tight hug and even went so far as to spin her before setting her back down. He knew she pretty much despised him as an unnatural thing but he didn't care, he thought she was hilarious.
"Maddie, it's great to see you on this side of the pond too! Such a spiteful little handful, aren't we?" He knew why she had come, didn't need to pick through her mind to find out that reasoning. His mother's side of the family had a terrible habit of holding grudges. Must have been a fire elemental thing.
