Can you hear them? Who: Liliya & Elizaveta Where: Liliya's office When: Early afternoon
In Elizaveta's day it was considered perfectly good form to call upon members of the clergy before any local politicians. She felt no guilt in visiting the Cardinal first. Then again, in her day the politicians were not quite as notable and tended to only frequent larger social events. While it might have been easier to throw some kind of event and have them all come to her, it was a touch presumptuous to think all would attend and the chance to speak one-on-one was preferable. Especially when it minimised the chance of unwanted spectators.
The town seemed to be full of them.
She had not bothered to change her clothing from this morning even if it did draw attention to her race, but then she cared little for anything the fang-fodder around her had the audacity to shout in broad daylight. Apparently they had yet to realise she was not combusting, and was therefore just as likely to come after them and their children now as she was during the night. Not that she would ever consider such a thing; it was deeply unnecessary, but that wasn't the point. The feigned life her family was blessed with did little to detract from her teeth, now entirely on show as she greeted anyone who looked at her with a smile. As Eric had said: visible and transparent.
No one in Ms. Kennedy's office was about to hurl vampire-related accusations at her, however. When asked if she had an appointment, Elizaveta's smile just broadened. The appointment was in the dentistry. "I believe she is expecting me," she began politely, "But to be sure, it is Elizaveta Barishnikova. We spoke earlier." After a fashion. It was so much easier when she had one of her blood dolls to sort out this part.
