Billie had come for more berries, but then the weather...well, it apparently had other plans for the day. Such as in ruining the perfectly fine dress she was wearing, making her white favorite shoes go to waste and probably turn her hair into a dangerous-looking mane. And now they were going to play in the middle of that mess? Some people were crazy, she knew that, but it was almost ridiculous someone could have such a little self respect for their hygiene...and the clothes...and the mud...and why were people calling her? She didn't want to go. She wasn't really good offering negatives and making evasive maneuvers in front of a lot of people too.
She was just going to stand there wishing the muddy earth turned into quicksand and ate her in one chew. Or hope they would stop calling her, although it seemed like they still needed someone in one team. Not that they were counting on just how many people were on each team, too. And wouldn't weres make the competition unfair? She was stronger than a good deal of people after all, and she wasn't even one of the stronger weres that she knew. Why oh why did it have to rain?
