Perhaps this was one of the reasons why Grayson spent most nights in the VIP area of the bar, rather than down at the actual bar itself. He was aware he could be intimidating, yes. He was aware he expected a lot from his staff, yes. Grayson was not, however, aware that he could send hearts aflutter like he was apparently doing to Rose at the moment.
But, if there was one thing Grayson was good at, it was being charasmatic and making the best of any situation. And he could talk when the occasion called for it, and he preferred something to fill up this silence between them, if only to make things slightly less awkward between them. Grayson hoped, anyway. "I take it you like the music?" he asked, nodding towards the fingers she had tapping against the bar. "The DJ's quite good tonight." Granted, everything they played at Heme wasn't what he'd listen to in his own time, but it was passable.
