Bonnie nodded and pulled out her cellphone, taking a deep breath as she tried to work herself up to cry. She was a good actress, for some reason, crying was just fucking hard to do in front of her brothers. They weren't supposed to see that kind of shit.
And then Liam asked that fucking question, and sounded like a little boy all over again. Bonnie's heart broke on the spot, and everything finally just hit her - and hard. Tears started to well up and spill over her cheeks, and before she could tell herself she wasn't allowed she leaned over to hug her little brother. In the next instant she was up and on her feet, heading across the room as she dialed 911. She'd let the boys talked while she called the cops. This call just wasn't going to require as much acting as it was twenty seconds ago.
"911 Scarlet Oak, what is your emergency?"
Bonnie didn't answer until she was in the kitchen, and she let the dam broke. "My brother is fucking gone!"
