I was once a part of your forgotten past Who: Edward and Odette Where: Odette's apartment at Cherryblossom Place What: Reunion...because both Odette's sire and childe are creepy stalker guys. <<
Odette rose that evening with no intention of going to the shop. She was calling a random day off and anyone who had issues with that could bugger off. She slid out of bed and pulled the heavy drapes that blocked the sunlight from reaching her on her bed apart. She still had her coffins in storage but she no longer used them, even after the idea of vampirism became acceptable (even before the Light of May). She'd always had a taste for soft cushions and pillows in life and that never really went away and she had no reason to not indulge. Liev had been a coffin vampire and she followed his lead but she was on her own now and a bed suited her just fine.
She slipped on a silk robe and walked across her room to the bureau, fixing her hair into a neat cascade down her back. She wiped the sleep off her face with deft fingers. She wore no make-up in her own house but she didn't like the "just woken" look either. When she was content with her appearance, she walked into her living room and glanced at the television. She'd never really watched much of it but she supposed there would be some merit to turning it on for the sound and so she did. She eventually settled on the news channel. The reporter was tragically good-looking in an "older gent" sort of way, though the thought of him being "older" made Odette laugh.
She picked a random book off the pile she had taken from the store and settled on her nice, poofy couch. She sank into the cushions and began to read. Once you were dead (or undead), there wasn't really much else to do but relax. She had just fed and she had no need to be gluttonous. After all, she had to watch her figure.
