Eva blinked at Locke's reaction, half expecting that she might have to pick his jaw up from the floor. She hoped not, Eva couldn't bend down that far right now! She didn't understand why Locke would think he'd write her off, she wasn't that kind of person - but then again, it wasn't every day she found a friend around her age who understood her point of view, either. "Don't worry, I don't think you're boring," she said, taking another sip of her coffee. "I've come across the same thing with my friends, so most of them know not to invite me to their big parties and what not." Not that Eva would go to some kegger anyway, not her style.
"And trust me, I do. I wouldn't trade it for anything." She didn't know if it was part of being an earth elemental or what, but she always took it as it was. Earths didn't do well with change anyway, and she didn't want to. Moving up here from Florida was enough as far as she was concerned. There was a wisdom beyond Locke's years, definitely, but she found it refreshing in a sense. Finally, a guy who could come over and watch movies and - gasp! - actually watch the god damn movies! "I have bits and pieces," she said. "I didn't take much with me when I moved, all I could fit in a couple bags, really. But my dad has this massive collection, I'm still finding out what he's got. Which is amazing, because there's still so many movies I haven't seen yet."
