She noticed his blush, and it just made her smile. Locke, in her mind, deserved the tip because he was a nice guy and knew his job. And because that's what you were supposed to do. And he was bringing her food over to her! He was a sweetheart, and she was happy she'd decided to stop by here after all.
Detriot? In all honesty, Eva wasn't sure how long the drive to Detroit would be from here, maybe she'd think about making it someday. Whenever she got a car, that was. She'd driven her mom's when she'd been in Florida, but had walked everywhere while she was at school. "I'll probably check out the bookstore in a bit, better if I sit for a while," she said, knowing she shouldn't stress her injury any more than she likely already had. But she just wanted to get out and do something, no one could blame the girl for that. "I've already found the park," it was where she'd met the demon, a memory she wasn't going to mention right then, "and I've heard of the festival, I just haven't found anyone to go with me yet. My dad might, but I know he took a lot of time off work recently to help me out, so I'm hoping I'll find some time to get there."
Eva's eyes lit up at the mention of the drive in. "I love movies," she said. "I'm actually going to school to be a filmmaker. It's always more fun to see a movie at the drive-in anyway, easy to get lost in the experience that way." And no, she didn't go there to hook up with some random guy, she wasn't that kind of girl. Not that she was opposed to dating, far from it, but she loved motion pictures too much to ruin it by making out the whole time.
She grinned at his question. "I would love that, actually. Here." Though she couldn't really lean over, she took one of her crutches and moved his chair out for him, so he could sit down. He was the one with full hands, after all. Eva then propped her broken leg up on the chair next to her so it was a little more comfortable for to sit.
