"Holy shit," she managed to blurt out as the little moth let rip, unable to do anything but stare, wide-eyed, at Kizzy's invective. Lucy had never been insulted by an insect before, so the novelty was interesting. Then again, she hadn't really thought that a familiar could be something as delicate as an insect - and yes, she'd figured out it was a familiar the second it started talking - because the risk of it getting smooshed just like Lucy had threatened was too great. Stranger than getting yelled at by a flying bug, however, was the fact that Lucy actually felt kind of bad about what she'd said, which was a rare enough thing to be remarkable.
"Sorry! Sorry!" Lucy replied somewhere in the middle of Kizzy's rant, holding her hands up in surrender. Not that that stopped the highly improbable threats. And when the moth just kept going, Lucy couldn't help but laugh again, which certainly didn't help matters. She covered her mouth with one hand as she laughed and tried to look contrite, but she wasn't very good at it, especially when it came to angry things with fluffy antennae.
When Graham finally trapped Kizzy between his hands, Lucy was left not knowing what to think. One though that crossed her mind was who the fuck thought it was a good idea to give Graham a familiar anyway. She refused to believe that he was a witch, though she had no real evidence one way or the other, which meant that he had to be an elemental. Lucy figured it would make sense if he was a fire elemental, though he looked a little pale and chilly for one. She'd just blame Graham being an all-around freak for that. "I wouldn't have said anything if I'd realized she was a familiar," she confessed, more for Kizzy's benefit than Graham's. "I mean, who the fuck has ever seen such an easily squishable familiar?" Other than him, of course.
She was torn between being amused at the idea of him doing her some kind of favor by getting rid of Kizzy and slightly horrified at the thought of anyone killing a familiar. Then again, that was mostly only because it made her think of someone killing her familiar, which was upsetting. Knowing Lucy, she'd probably survive just long enough to place a monumental curse on the culprit before going insane and/or kicking the bucket. "And is the moth - Kizzy, right? - under the mistaken impression that I'm interested?" It was the only explanation for Kizzy getting so possessive, which was amusing, but ugh, no.
