Rolling her eyes Kiara flipped her fingers and sunk down into the chair behind her desk, feet going up on it automatically. What? It was her office and she could be comfortable if she bloody well wanted to be! "Tracing the sins back in the line don't be making them no better," she pointed out to the brunette. Who she did indeed think was a few coins shy of a full purse. Or, you know, maybe she was missing all of the coins except for a few pennies rattling around in there trying to make it seem better. "Your mum failed and you need to be accepting that already. She always could have moved on."
One wrinkle was a very noticeable thing to a siren. A siren who was supposed to remain young and beautiful forever was not supposed to have a wrinkle anywhere. Like Kiara? Had absolutely no wrinkles anywhere and she would be totally fine with showing that off. "Creams that sirens shouldn't need," Kiara said with a toss of her head, feeling undignified just for being in the same room as a siren who would stoop to using creams to get rid of wrinkles she should not have in the first place. "Oh, you be meaning Miranda, tch for her going out amid the demons. She's not the sort you need teaching you anyhow." Miranda had had such fluid views and while Kiara had gotten on well enough with her they had never seen quite eye to eye. Miranda had fallen in love after all and that was a crucial failing in a siren.
