Oh sweet Jesus, what was wrong with this girl? Other than the fact that she was in a museum and did not appreciate art or seem to have a solid grasp on anything. And Kiara was not sort of lecturing her at all, she was just saying things that were true and should be agreed with at all times. Perhaps more than that. And she, unlike this girl she did not even know was a siren, knew how to take care of herself in all situations. That was what happened when you grew up before the world was settled and most of everything in the known world was controlled by one country that did not even deserve the time of day.
Kiara was about to open her mouth and tell the brunette exactly where she could take herself when she mentioned sirens. Oh sure, she added in some nonsense about stemming from Greece - what?! Irish through and through! Me mother too!! What sort of lark have people been having with her?? - but the fact that she was looking for something about sirens was enough to make the redhead pause for a moment. Sirens were fascinating of course, but not many people were interested in them. Those who were either were themselves, knew one, or were hunting them. And this did not look like any sort of a hunter. "Sirens and Greece should be no more connected than vampires are to Transylvania," Kiara scoffed with a flip of her wrist. "Oh sure, legends and myths from there are well known, but that's because no one could do anything in Greece without a myth being made out of it." True then and probably still true now. Dramatics the lot of them. The comment about pottery was dismissed as something said to appease her, Kiara more concerned with why this girl cared about sirens. "Why the interest in sirens? Think you might know one, that be it?"
