Who: Adam and Ronnie What: Some creepy stalking. When: 4-ish
With a bright smile and a hop in her step, Ronnie felt very chipper about her upcoming meeting with Mr. Rowe. Of course, he didn't know they were having a meeting, but surely everyone likes surprises? Yes, she was sure he would be much happier with a surprise. And cookies. She had baked cookies the day before especially for him. For quite awhile she had actually contemplated writing his name on them with icing, but finally cast that idea aside as a little too forward.
Instead, she settled for pink and red hearts. That wasn't too forward, was it? Anyways, she had cookies, a copy of her assignment, and a copy of one of her favorite books. The assignment was her excuse to go see him, though he was a professor and surely she didn't need a reason to get to know him better.
And well, of course she wanted to know him better! He was brilliant (obviously) and he was a lot more mature than the people her age. In fact, not once had he yelled Catholic bitch, bible-humper, or Nazi at her, which she took as a good sign, as there had been a couple who thought that was particularly amusing.
This was why Mr. Rowe was such a mature, sophisticated man.
Pausing in front of his office door, Ronnie told herself very sternly that she. Would. Not. Ramble. She was going to remain calm and collected! No speaking at break-neck speed and no high pitched giggles. Control and composure was the key.
With a deep breath, she pushed open the door and, with a bright grin, called out, "Hello!"
