Harley, for one, hoped her parents were going to hang around for a while. He knew what it was like to be without part of your family - though he had his dad, that relationship left something to be desired for sure, and nothing had been the same since his mom left. He couldn't imagine to be in Aetheria's shoes, having her parents on the other side of the ocean for so long.
Not wanting to dwell on that thought, he was glad for the change in subject. "It'll be great, Kai's a good friend of mine." And then Aetheria was trying to fix his hair, something he instantly found to be even more adorable than she'd been previously. Harley almost told her that it was a lost cause, his hair was unfixable and he rather liked it that way, but instead he leaned his head down a little so she'd be able to reach. Who cared about the fact that he was technically supposed to be working? She was here, and he hadn't seen her in a while, and that was really all that mattered to him.
When she stumbled, one arm went around her waist to catch her, keeping her a bit closer to him than was probably necessary, but Harley didn't mind. Not in the slightest. "You okay?" he asked, smiling down at her.
