I just need light; I need light in the dark as I search for the resolution
Who: Fable Morrison and Bradley Krasner (plus Ainsley and Fable's familiar Yoko, NPC'd!)
Where: The farmer's market!
When: Early afternoon
What: Earths for the win! XD
Oh sweet, sweet sunshine. Fable had been waiting all weekend for a day like this, and she wasn't going to waste it indoors. It was amazing how the change in weather could affect her mood, and there was more of a bounce in her step than had been evident in quite some time. Yoko made a point of it as Fable was getting dressed that morning, fluttering to land on the corner of Fable's dresser. Been a while since I've seen you get any sort of dressed up, honey, Yoko told her. Any special occasion?
"The farmer's market." Fable applied a little bit of lip balm, the only makeup she really had time for anymore - not that she'd been all that high maintenance to begin with. "I know they're not going to have much that I can't grow myself, but - it's kind of like being a little kid and getting to go to the candy store." It had been far, far too long since she'd been to a proper farmer's market, and that was going to change as of today.
If the dove could have laughed, Fable was sure she would have; as it was she definitely heard a chuckling sound coming from the bird. You're an Earth, sweetie, that totally makes sense.
Not an hour later, Fable was out the door and at the market, Ainsley's car seat in one hand and a small basket in the other. Yoko tagged along as well, though she was up in the sky to keep watch on things from above instead of hovering. (Just because the news says it's okay to come out doesn't mean the demons aren't still around, Yoko pointed out, and Fable agreed. It still didn't mean a little dove was going to be able to protect them, but at least Yoko could give Fable a heads up if needed.) The baby was sleeping for the moment, making it a little easier for her mom to get a little shopping done. As it was, the basket she was filling weighed almost as much as the baby did.
