Brian's protests served to make Rowan laugh harder. She couldn't help it. Because that was exactly how she'd felt the first time it had happened to her, and the manager had told her to just deal with it. It was truly horrifying, no buts about it.
She managed to get herself under control by the time Brian asked her about it, and she gave a grim smile and nod. And ignored the slight color raising to her cheeks. "Usually at least once a night. The trick is to try and sound firm while looking anywhere but at the people." Which, you know, never really worked. Things were seen. Some things could not be unseen, no matter how desperately you wanted to. "You get a lot of people from school. Which is just as horrifying as, like, the forty year old perves." Coin flip on that one. The worst had been that skeevy regular couple she saw at the bar who asked her to join in. Rowan grimaced at the memory. What the fuck was wrong with people.
