A lot of people were never surprised to hear that. Whether that was a good or bad thing was beyond Graham, but from the sounds of it, Tessa took it as a good thing, even more so with how she responded to him. "I don't think there's a maybe in there," he replied, a bit cocky in his delivery. "Think it's more of a matter of when, if you ask me." He didn't mind being so forward with the fire elemental, especially over the phone. It still hadn't registered with Graham that perhaps the fact he was a vampire could potentially throw her for a loop. That and he had to remind himself constantly that Tessa was not a midnight snack by any means. At least with the phone he was able to still keep in contact with her. Did he still crave to have her right there with him? Well, no shit. It was hard not to let his mind wander while talking with Tessa.
"I guess you'll have to wait until Friday to find out for sure, right?" He teased her with a chuckle, then finished off his cup of blood, placing the empty mug to the side. "Though if you ask me, I'm finding it hard to wait right now." Either that or his body felt like being aroused for absolutely no reason. Funny how a woman's voice and the mere thought of her was enough to send pleasant chills throughout his body. Better than the cold chills that were there before. With another drag on his clove, he smothered the tip against the side of his chair and chucked it into his mug while letting out a soft purr. "So what are you doing right now?" Aside from not being here in my lap.
