Dashiell blinked, trying to remember all the questions she had asked him. She was speaking quiet fast. He was no longer used to how quickly people spoke. Vasilis was never in any rush and, Dashiell figured, neither should he. "I am quite fine," he began. "I live with Mother and Father now...though before that I lived with Vasilis~ Our sisters are here but not with us. They are elsewhere, Mother said, but she had not said more...she will perhaps tell me when Father is better."
Proud of himself for remembering all her questions and answering them properly, he smiled again. Khione, if she could have, would have rolled her eyes into the back of her head. She loved her little one (as she had taken to calling Dashiell) but sometimes he was plain hopeless. She gave him an affection nip on the ear as she perched on the edge of his shoulder.
Their parents, too, Khione cooed at Celeste. He's been in need of finding. Desperately.
