Hmph. Catch the stupid indeed. "Ya know if you weren't such a miserable cunt you'd...well you'd probably be a completely different person now wouldn't you?" Decent artist or no, the girl was still a haughty bitch who thought way too much of herself for her own good. Despite the fact that she was working on him with a needle Jace absolutely refused to give her the satisfaction of showing pain, so he just kept right up with what he normally did. Mainly be a smartass.
With a derisive snort he said, "If you took a second to show humility, I'm reasonably sure any unfortunate passers by would be sucked into whatever rip in reality caused such a miracle." Jace couldn't say anything about her devotion to her work though, he was insulting her to her masked face and she never stopped looking at his tattoo. "At least you've got focus, I'll give you that. I'd say don't let it go to your head but I'm reasonably sure the gravitational pull on that thing has already pulled that poor comment in to a fiery atmospheric entry."
Looking around at the parlor he noted that the place, despite the destruction of the rest of the establishment, was remarkably well kept. If she was in fact the proprietor of this place then she definitely ran a clean shop. Yet another comment that he would keep to himself to prevent her ego from getting any bigger. "I hope you're better at inking than charming people, if only for the sake of my arm."
