Demons were a tricky subject to discuss, all things considered. Not that there were people out there who loved having them around, he didn't think... but then again there were demonic blooded people too, so who knew what was up with that. Evan, obviously, was not one of them. He didn't like going to sleep at night knowing he was a potential target simply because he existed. That was why he'd brought Lia back to his house, so that way he could make sure she was safe, too. Who cared if they'd only just met? It worked out for both parties involved.
Evan nodded, moving his cart further down the aisle. Doritos already chosen, he looked over and grabbed a bag of tortilla chips, too. Maybe he'd have nachos for dinner tonight, didn't sound like such a bad idea. And he could bring the leftover topping with him to work and heat it up there for a snack in the middle of his shift. "Very busy," he agreed. "I don't think we'll ever go out of business, someone's got to do a job like mine." He spoke very matter-of-factly, having no qualms with being an embalmer. He helped give the dead the proper sendoff they deserved, and he knew when he went, whenever that may be, one of his family members would do the same for him. "I'm totally game for that late night dinner sometime though, just might be towards the end of the week. Depending on work and all." Bianca, of all people, would probably forgive him for being busy hanging out with dead people.
