You could 'cause you can so you do Who: Evan Forsythe and Bianca Syme When: Late afternoon Where: Random grocery-type store in Scarlet Oak
It was, upon waking up on Monday morning - okay, so it was really sometime after noon, Evan wasn't really paying attention to the time - that he realized that he really needed to go grocery shopping. Spending the weekend holed up in his apartment with Lia had been a great idea, and they'd avoided the demons, definite bonus there, but he was now cleaned out of food. His first meal of the day was nothing more than the dregs at the bottom of his box of Cheerios. Evan might be a bachelor, but even he didn't consider a handful of Cheerios to be breakfast.
While some places were starting to open back up now, since the demon attacks were becoming fewer and fewer as time went on, he didn't really feel like Chinese, or Thai, or hell, even a pizza. So, to the grocery store it was, glasses perched on his nose as he looked over the shelves. He'd have stopped at the 7-11 to pick up just the basics, like milk and cheese and a six pack of beer, but the place was oddly closed. Evan had never seen a 7-11 that ever closed before.
He didn't think much of it, though, strolling down the aisles, leaning against his shopping cart. Now the only big question on Evan's mind was what he'd have for dinner. Something more interesting that just boring old chicken, that was for damn sure.
