You know sometimes I amaze even myself.
Who: Jared and Anslee
Where: Her house and then back Jared's
When: Late morning
What: Bored!Nerds are bored.
Sure, they were still out there, but there was no way that he was going to let demons stand between him and getting out. Especially to get Anslee. One of his best friends, he wasn't going to let her die of boredom on that basement. He'd spent the better part of the last two days praying nothing happened to the shop and waiting for the demons to go away. They were definitely on the DO NOT WANT list and he was glad that the news said they had seemed to thin out a little. It was still dangerous, sure, but he needed to get out. Even the walls of his home and business were getting a little tight and all he wanted was to see a familiar face and get some air. Even if it was rain dampened air. And he wasn't really all that afraid. Heroes weren't afraid.
Nope, Han Solo was coming to the rescue and he pulled into the driveway of her house about twenty-three minutes after he last texted her. Okay, so maybe Han Solo had a little crush on Leia, but being that he'd kept that inside for so long, he wasn't about just blurt it out when she opened the door. She was going to get a hug though. Demons keeping friends and fellow ghost hunters apart earned her a hug. He knocked on the door and leaned against it, hat keeping the rain off his glasses.
When she opened the door, he grinned. "Brought the Falcon as promised, your worship. Fancying spending the day with this scoundrel?"
