Hannah was quick to respond to that and shook her head. "Uh, no." she said. "I'm... I don't know... My parents are really country and back woods and quiet and... totally the opposite of me and I just always felt a little out of place back home. Like... I was born into the wrong world or something. I mean, listen to me. I know I'm bouncy and overflowing with annoying little hyper bouts, but that's me and that? That's nothing like my parents."
She wondered sometimes if her mother ever regretted having a child. Her father too for that matter. They loved her, she was certain, but she couldn't help but think that a much quieter child would have been loved a whole hell of a lot more.
