Offense hadn't been in Oma's attentions, and yet, her Elemental was her priority above all others. From all she had seen, she liked Feathers, even before he had come for Raina after the attack. His friend's broadcasts, as that one, Sparky, had really been a broadcaster of thoughts, had been what had cast a shade of uncertainty to her opinion of the Werefalcon. Not knowing what exactly Sparky had meant, and the possible repercussions of such for Raina.
The Elemental couldn't feel the magical barrier herself, it wasn't among her abilities or capabilities, but she trusted Isaiah at his word on the subject of the wards around his family's home. It never even occurred her to do otherwise, to doubt him.
It was a relief to stop, to know the demons were held at bay, especially with Isaiah's relief so obvious. There really wasn't much to say, aside from the greeting of, "Mrs. Williamson," as it apparently was the same in name, but not in title. More might have been said if she had been able to pass along anything in a language that they could answer.
This was hardly the reintroduction to Isaiah's mother that Raina would have wanted, in one day meeting his mom as his girlfriend and not her daughter's teacher.
