There was not much that Raina could do just then, the fact that she was at least temporarily incapacitated brought the tendrils of additional dismay into the situation, but those same tendrils were battled back by the calm and patience she could draw from her element. Sitting in a car, in a driveway, was not the most optimal location for connecting with the Earth, but her natural connection to it was strong enough, the tether concrete enough, that she was able to draw some comfort from it.
She accepted the fleeting kiss, a semblance of a smile, at least a shade or shadow of one, following it. There may not have been much she could do just then, but Raina felt she certainly could offer some safer shelter for his motorcycle. She did understand how much he loved it, and while it didn't seem likely that demons would come for a two wheeled vehicle to destroy it, there was no reason to chance it.
His speed then, as he stored his bike and closed the door after him, was surprising only at first. Never having seen him move so quickly, never having been around for a time when that was a necessity, Raina had not expected it as it happened. The second thought, indulged for only as long as it took to appear and be dismissed, was that it fit. That it really fit what she knew of what he was, the other half of who he was.
While he was gone, just that short while, she helped Oma and then Bean into the car from the open passenger side door, allowing them to crawl over her lap to situate themselves in the back. It seemed the easiest way to accomplish their safety, and they were soon tucked away, and her door closed with her good hand.
If she was a little pale when she nodded to agree with his statement, when Isaiah returned and turned the key, it really was not a surprise as to why with a handful of factors clear for all to see.
