"Harley," Chance made a face at her friend. "That's not to say." She pointed out about Harley's comment about demons being 'really freakin' creepy'. She reached over for the seatbelt as they started jolting and bumping backwards. As forgetful as she was, seatbelts were part of muscle memory. She continued to watch in amusement as the demon looked mildly confused by their movement before running towards them again. "Is this exciting?" she asked back lightly. This was her first demon attack and it was, in it's own way, entertaining but she assumed it would get tiresome after a while.
She flinched a little as he reached out to stop her from opening her door. As he didn't stop driving, Chance naturally assumed that he was being serious and she wouldn't be allowed to lock up. Well, there was no money in the register anyway, owing to the fact that there were no customers. Though she didn't quite know about the idea that Aunt Sunny would forgive her for not locking up...for any reason. Resigning herself to this strange sort of consensual kidnapping, she leaned into her seat and let Harley drive.
"You worry too much," she said at length, poking his cheek, waiting for a smile. "I'm fine, you're fine AND I have a new photo for my collection," she laughed, patting the little camera in her apron pocket. "So...where are we headed?"
