Alanna had experienced both ways of being the hybrid monster; caged and uncaged. And she preferred the cage and thought that everyone else should be exactly the same. Why want to go out and wreak havoc and hurt people like Kiley? No reason at all. It just should not be anything like a law. The government needed to keep their noses out of things like that. Not that they will. Not that they ever do. Ah well, she could focus on whatever was making Kiley happy even if the presence of the other redhead made a rather small part of Alanna quite jumpy. Not that she could help it. Chipmunks and wolves really were not the sort of animals that made best friends.
"It will." Hopefully. Alanna had no idea what Roxy's parents were like, or her girlfriend for that matter. Except for the mermaid thing which was pretty noteable but probably not a good character trait. She ducked her head, her blush not getting any better, when Kiley chided her briefly. Luckily she latched onto talking about Cedric and Alanna was going to keep on encouraging that. "And you went out with him. Or something. If he was just a guy who came in all of the time then you wouldn't have mentioned him so come on, tell me! Or do I have to pry it all out of you?"
