Living in the dorms was simply out of the question, even if Day craved the kind of social connection that might give him; Christian would pitch a fit, and he didn't need to put that kind of expense on his father when he already lived just across town. He made a face. "It's all right, Danny, I'd rather know than not know. You know me; if I can't be the center of attention, I wilt."
He was joking, poking fun at himself, but at the same time, he was a little afraid he would wilt, maybe not if he wasn't the center of attention, but if he wasn't getting and attention. He shot a bright smile at Danny. "I'll figure something out. You'll have to introduce me to your friends, at least." He could get a head start that way!
