Re: Gabe and Madock
"I think mom will get over it. It's not like there's much she could actually do about it. Claire's eighteen. I'm eighteen. We're allowed to make our own decisions now and she knows that Claire's not dumb enough to get pregnant or anything and I know that you aren't dumb enough to put my sister into that position. Not like there's much else for her to really worry about ya know?" Madock said with a little shrug. "But yeah, I figure we can look up some cheap places online and what not and go through together to look at them."
Gabe wanted to sleep with Claire. He'd admit it, even if he knew it wouldn't be happening, at least not any time soon. But getting her pregnant was definitely something he'd be avoiding at all costs. He supposed that the no sex thing at least prevented that kind of a scare. "Generally, I've found that if parents don't want you to do something at our age, the easiest string to pull is that of our money. If your mom doesn't want me living with Claire, then she could make it hard," Gabe said. She couldn't stop them from dating, and probably wouldn't, but she could make life difficult if she didn't want them to live together. Plus, Gabe really didn't want to piss Claire and Madock's mother off. "Hopefully she won't give a crap. Or doesn't believe her daughter fools around from time to time. I don't know how aware your mom is."
"I don't think mom is going to be a bitch about the whole thing. If Claire wants to do something... she'll find a way to do it. She's stubborn and forcing her to do something just makes her do the total opposite." Madock shrugged a little. "We'll figure it out when we get to that point I guess. I don't really think my mom is super aware of much of anything." He half thought that his mom would be glad to have Claire away from their father.
"Okay, then," Gabe smiled. He knew his own mom would just roll her eyes. She's read up on werewolves, and knew that if Claire and Gabe were sleeping together, then they might as well be married. Who was she to stop them? Gabe wondered if Madock had a clue. "I'm really excited about it. I know we wouldn't have to move in till closer to the fall, but I kinda want to do it now," he laughed. "Maybe mom'll be glad to have me out of the house."
"I know the feeling." Madock said, though it was more of a mutter. He was ready to be out of his house. Ready to get Claire away from their father. He'd visit his mother, he knew, but he didn't really want to think about his father again after he and Claire moved out. "Course, your mom will be glad to have you gone. Look at the parties you throw." he teased. "All that clean up."
