Madock headed over towards his sister, fingers laced through Jessalyn's free hand. "There she is." he said to the blonde as he lead her over to his sister. "Just got here a few minutes ago." he explained. "Figured you'd be with Gabe. Where's he at?"
She shrugged and smiled. She didn't always have to be with Gabe. Despite the fact that she liked to be. "He's around. I saw him talking to a couple guys from the hockey team near the stereo... given he's the host, I don't think he can blow off everyone to keep me entertained." Her eyes fell to Jessalyn. "Are you having fun?"
"Oh... well, yes, so far." Jessalyn smiled. "Madock's going to teach me to dance, so I guess 'fun' will really depend on if I end up hurting myself, or someone else in the process." And that was always a possibility, now that she was drinking.
Madock chuckled a little and gave her fingers a squeeze. "I don't think you'll hurt anyone and you're too small to hurt my feet even if you do step on them." Which she very well might, but Madock didn't really care. "You having a good time?" he questioned, arching a brow at his sister.
Claire grinned, trying to imagine her brother teaching a girl how to dance. She was thinking he must be pretty whipped at this point. "I'm having fun," she said with a small shrug. "I've talked to a couple people..." She always liked the party better once it was over and it was quiet in Gabe's house again. That was generally when she had to find where he passed out and drag him to his bed. Her eyes ticked away from her brother to Jessalyn. "I hope you plan on taking good care of my brother tonight. All he does is gush about you." Madock didn't really gush, but she couldn't pass up the opportunity to embarrass her brother a bit.
Madock would probably be the only one embarrassed, since Jessalyn thought that particular statement was incredibly sweet. "Does he?" She grinned up at Madock briefly. "Well, I promise to take care of him, you don't have to worry. My intentions are nothing but pure. For the most part," she added with a grin.
Madock's face flushed deep crimson at both his sister's statement and Jessalyn's. Pure intentions... he wondered if blow jobs and eating her out fell under 'pure intentions'. Thank god Claire wasn't a telepath. "Do not..." he said softly, enough that he wouldn't be heard in the large crowd. "You need a ride home after this or is Gabe bringing you back to the house? Actually... he's probably drinking tonight, so yeah, ride home?" he asked again. He wasn't going to let Gabe take his sister back to the house when he'd knocked a few back.
"Do too," Claire countered, sticking her tongue out at him before she took another sip of beer. "Uhm... I think... don't worry about me, I'll be okay." She declined to mention Gabe had wanted her to stay over. At the moment, she wasn't sure what she was going to do. "If Gabe's too drunk, I'll just sleep on the couch or something. I'll text you and let you know if I can't find you before you go. And if I need a ride home, you can always come back and get me after taking Jessalyn home. Sound good?"
"Yeah." he nodded. "If you're crashing here, lemme know before I head home though, I'll text you or something because if I show up without you and you need a cover story, I'd like to know before I've already told mom that you'll be in." Madock smiled. He trusted that Gabe wouldn't do anything to his sister. And he knew that if he even came close to trying to do something to Claire that she would call. Vouching for her whereabouts with a cover story would be just fine by him.
"Sure." She smiled at him and then at Jessalyn before drifting her gaze back to her brother's face. "I think I like her." Definitely not a skanky ho. Jessalyn was sweet and she... apparently never stopped smiling. Awesome. "I'm going to go track down Gabe. Be careful when you're dancing, okay? You never know what body parts you might end up breaking." She ought to know.
"It was nice to meet you, officially," Jessalyn added, thankful that Claire hadn't given her a glare, or rolled her eyes at anything she'd said.
