A spot in the shade away from it all
Who: Charlene and Silvia
Where: Along the river
When: Early afternoon
So Charlene still was not in the best of moods, but that did not mean she was going to spend today the same way she had yesterday. Singing people away and getting cursed was a once a year sort of thing and her quota was filled. More than filled because her skin still felt all tingly and the little streaks of light had disappeared sometime when she was sleeping. For a moment she entertained thoughts of what she would do if K-lee decided to come back and try playing again before realizing that she really, really did not want to deal with the witch ever again. She had a point for dumping Coke on the witch and K-lee had two just from yesterday for what she had done, and Charlene was not feeling all that competitive towards someone who could knock her out without even touching her.
Looking for Nixie would be a waste of time because there were absolutely no signs of her sister. Going into town would be a waste as well, there was nothing she wanted to buy so there was no need to sell anything. Hoping to see Roxy was also dismissed as soon as it was thought of just because being disappointed was not worth it. So, with hardly any other options available, Charlene decided that a day spent drawing could be nice. Picking out a simple dress and grabbing her art supplies, Charlene wandered along the river until she found a nice tree to settle under. The shells that she had twined into her hair while deciding what to do were still there, giving off faint clinks whenever they bumped together.
The fact that the last time she had sat beside the river to draw had ended badly was completely forgotten by the mermaid. And had she remembered she probably would not have been all that bothered. K-lee's spell had hurt more than being shot and being shot had been the one with more pleasant after-effects. Once the unpleasantness was taken out of the equation. And actually being in the hospital. ...maybe being shot had been worse after all.
